Content Post Is anyone still worried about the Bills?

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

Don't get too wrapped up in the loss. We still make the playoffs, one and done but that was our known ceiling going in to the season.
As for the Bills, I don't see them winning a SB. Heartache in B'lo again this year like every other year.

The Barfalo Billdos losing Any of their last two games.
They lost to Jacksonville and lost 5 of 8 at one stretch, not very long ago. Of course they could lose one of the next 2.

Josh Allen is a bad bad man. I don't look forward to seeing him again if it happens.

He scrambles. He's just the latest qb to scramble well. Granted he's no RG III kind of disaster waiting to happen, but he's no Russel Wilson or Aaron Rodgers either. I'm not sure he ever wins a ring.

He is better than russel Wilson in my opinion. His arm talent is up there. One of the things which angers me about the perceptions about Brady is his arm talent - his arm talent is just as good as Brady if not stronger in certain scenarios. One of the things he does better than he did last year and obviously the years before is the scramble backwards so much improvement

They haven't shown anything else than the fact that they are going to be an one and out playoff team. They don't have that killer instinct; they let us hang around all game long and never bothered to put us away with a kill shot.

They didn't beat us. We beat ourselves. Easily one of the worst games this year.

Clearly the Pats are the best team in the NFL. We have the best coaches, OL, rookie QB, RBs, secondary. We only lose for 3 reasons: 1. The other team got lucky; 2. We were unlucky; 3. The refs caused us the game. Oh, sometimes because of the weather but that goes to 1 and 2 above. This team could easily be 15-0 if not for these 3 reasons.

I’d settle for 12-3… which is where we Should Be.

Did you steal that from a Bills fan? lol

Or any of the other 31 for that matter. Lol

Pretty sure the Jete's aren't saying that. lol
I only asked that about the Bills because that's how most of them act and have acted since I went to school there in the early 90's. That and the Pats only win because they're "cheaters" ***

Are the Bills still a better football team? Probably.
Have we closed the gap? Definitely.
I think this is a good take, and I'm curious to see how things go in the next couple years. Buffalo is currently projected to have an effective $1 million in cap space next year and will continue to be in bit of a bad place as Allen's monster cap hits start coming into play. (His cap number this year is only $10M; from 2023 through 2028, it's $40-50M every year.)

Nah. Bro he has a big arm. HIs ability to scramble is icing on the cake. His claim to fame is that he has the biggest arm in NFL. And yeah having a big arm matters - he can make any throw in any situation for any depth.

I said this before about Mac Jones. The reason he fell is 100% about his arm and 0% about his scrambling. Jones is not a threat to take it to the house. But if there is an opening he can easily run for a first down. His running ability is just above bottom tier - but perfectly serviceable for an NFL QB. Defenses won't scheme for Mac Jones running - but like a Baker Mayfield he can run for a fist down.

If Jones had an arm like Lawrence, Rodgers, Allen - not only would he have gone #1 - he would have been known as a generational pick and projected to outplay many of the greats.

You like big arms huh?

Here are some 85 yard bombs from the biggest bust in NFL history.

So...the pats beat themselves by not forcing the bills to punt? If you watched the game, the Bills did not play a great game, made bone head plays, bad decisions, and times they should not have went for it on 4th down, with all that, they never trailed.

Not to the teams they are playing.
So you think there is zero chance that the team that lost to 2-13 Jacksonville could lose to 7-8 Atlanta? If so, you either do not understand the concept or are being disingenuous.

We didn't take advantage of any of those things you listed, from boneheaded plays to bad decisions, so yeah, we beat ourselves.
