Sadly, the Patriots offensive TEs & WRs are mediocre. IF Patriots get into playoffs, and they end up playing the Bills or Colts....

piss poor defensive effort today
Youre rightFirst time since Gillette Stadium opened the Pats will have a losing record at home. Crazy
I think we need safeties and CBs in any draft, get a bunch of LBs in the 5th thru 7 rounds, because they always drop.
My concern is the D backfield because clearly we're giving too much space to offenses with BB concerned we'll get burned.
This D reminds me a lot of the Earthwind Moreland years when our D was good but BB knew we were weak in the D-Backfield so he disguised things back there. Ellis Hobbs, Moreland, sometimes Troy Brown.
We need depth in the D-backfield badly, and I agree about the LBs but that can wait.
5-3 at home in 2005The Pats lost 5 home games in 2005
Offense too.
The Pats converted 1 - 10 on 3rd down.
Buffalo had the ball for 10 additional minutes and for 15 more plays.
Mac throwing was 14 completions @ 32 attempts and it showed.
A 44% completion percentage will get you bounced out of the post season in a New York minute.
I'm all for threading the needle and throwing in small windows, but some of Macs passes were reckless.
The Pats offense was fortunate that Buffalos defense did not pull down more INTs.
Just leave and root for some other team. What a terrible post. I get you are upset but come on. Such crap from “fans”. And I’m not perfectCan we start draft talk now...
Can we pick up the phone with the Cardinals and straight up trade Harry for a guy hopelessly buried in their WR depth chart? They are deep at the position.
We could tout Harry’s size so much like Larry Fitzgerald’s.
The Colts in 2004 should’ve shredded that secondary, but Manning choked. I don’t blame what the “idiot kicker” said as that was an opportunity opening up for them. The defenses after Asante left could never make a key stop. The soft zone does not work. I cannot stand Dean Pees because of this. BB's best defenses are with elite man corners playing man cover1. The Pats did patch together a postseason luckily when Law was hurt but every other time it's been based on press man cover1.
There’s a difference between relying on the D and needing the D to force ONE punt or get one turnover in an entire game. Even after all of the offense’s early-game struggles, if JC made the pick (or the 4th down tackle) or Bryant held up in coverage on big 3rd downs, we could have won.Cannot always rely on the D.
