they aren't as bad as we thought during the 2-4 run and not as good as we thought during 7 game win streak. Somewhere in the middle of that, which is a solid season. Even as bad as we played the last two weeks, we had a shot in both... today, if JC catches that ball. This is totally playing with house money.
I feared that the chickens would come home to roost when all that Alabama talent was absent, that Mac would be average. Mac is not a big time QB and all the talk should stop until he proves that he is one.
Ugh….well OL blocking was piss poor and we had a lot of dropped balls…..Mac definitely looking like Rookie last 2 games even in game management mode…..Bills are the better team….

I think he can/will be. The real thing though is we want to be a top two team. If we want to go all the way, we gotta have a really strong team all around, so when we come up against a top five or better QB we can still be in the game.

Miami might be in a situation to take a playoff spot - from NE with a win. That is a game I can not in any way shape or form, see the Pats winning. I just can't.

Showing he can play is fine, but he's going to be against Allen twice a year. Either we have to build a D that can just take Allen out of the game, or we need Mac to develop to the point where he can play series after series at Allen's level.
The refs were scandalously bad. And yet, I can't bring myself to blame them. The defense was worse. Remember when Adalius was a FA hit for a while in 2007? Would love for Judon to not go the Adalius route.
If you want to look on the bright side....this was supposed to be a rebuilding year with a rookie QB. Wild card team was really the best case scenario at the beginning of the season. Amazingly, the #1 seed and Division was a reality until it wasn't. This has been a giant leap forward this year.
The Bills are at their peak. And they are not a SB team. For two years, the division is theirs. Bravo. I do not see a team good enough to lose one SB much less four in a row.
Just for perspective - if I came to you at the end of the last game of last year's 7-9 mess of a season and said "Hey, next year the Pats are gonna draft a QB in the first round, spend a bunch of money in free agency, split their games with the Bills and win 11 games en route to a wild card berth", I would imagine you'd be damn happy about that! That's a very realistic outcome for this season.
