Hot take - I think Mac is playing injured. Some of those throws were so wildly off today. Reminded me of Brady in late 2018. I’m hesitant to say that Indy exposed us just yet. Mac was facing a lot of Cover-1 robber today without Agholor. Stacked boxes, bump and run, tight windows. He couldn’t make it happen. But he’s beat that before. His mechanics are regressing as well. Too much torque getting generated from his upper body, which typically tells you something is up with his legs/ankles.
Defense couldn’t get a stop when the needed it. Allen ran and passed for almost 400 yards. Offense had drops, poor timing. Bills won the LOS battle mostly.
Belichick is speaking like someone who 1) is really trying to be nicer to the media, and 2) is about to lose his voice from all the yelling he did on the field.
I won't put this all on Mac (maybe he's hit the wall) But it's their stupid philosophy on O. Come out weak and soft, hope to feel your way through it, and start playing in the 2nd half - that won't cut it! Harris did pretty well, but again, JMD goes away from him in the middle of the game.
Defense hit a wall once they started yapping like the old Ravens or Rex's Jets. They've gotten toasted the last 2 games. Most frustrating Defensive performance of the year. I hate the Bills. This one defines the year. Sure, we might win the last 2, but this shows that we're not ready to be at the top of the division yet - let alone conference.
I want to see how we respond at the end here, because we're prepping for next year.
I think the 7-game winning streak changed a lot of people’s expectations for this team. Jones is A ROOKIE, it’s an incredibly difficult position to play well, even if you’re a veteran. Brady, Rodgers & Mahomes, not one of them started their rookie season in the NFL. All of them also had the advantage of learning under a veteran signal caller their first year or two as well. I figured he was going to have his good moments and his bad moments, he’s still learning! The defense has been very good more often than not. Buffalo was supposed to be a Super Bowl contender this year and often played like a non-playoff team this year. Today? Unfortunately for the Pats, Allen & co. played to their expectations today. The sky is not falling, let’s regroup, temper our expectations a bit and see what happens. This team is still re-building imo and doing a pretty good job at it
I took a sabbatical with plans to come back by the playoffs, but the team is 0-2 since. Needless to say, I’m back. Team should finish strong now. Sorry, guys.
Tbh we played turd and everything went their way and we still had a shout even though it felt like we were never really in the game.
two poor drops and a stupid penalty really killed our momentum and chances of turning the tide in the game.
Mac was absolutely whack today, defence coughed up in big moments but don’t think they were as bad as people making out. They actually did a lot of good work and had the Bills in 3rd and long or 4th down a few times but Allen managed to pull one out his ass every time.
The Pats have the Jaguars. Let’s see if the Titans or Saints knock the Dolphins off. If that happens, the Dolphins game is likely irrelevant. But the team needs to get its act together if they expect to beat even the Jags.
Bills came out aggressive and playing like their season was on the line. I thought it took a while for the Pats to match that. Pats made more mistakes, and also didn't get any help from the officials. Regardless of the score, the NFL refereeing gets worse every week.
Also thought Daboll called a very good game, and Allen was fantastic. D needs to bring their A game to stop that.
Fortunately their record is about where I thought they would be. Unfortunately they seem to be sliding a little at the wrong time.
agree with this assessment. I think people underrate the bills because they had a little stumble but at the start of the season I saw them as the top team in the league.

He has to be one of the worst throwers of the football. Dude just can't throw anything but floaters. It is embarrassing to watch him literally float everything. You could be right. Maybe he does have some injury. I kind of hope so because if that is how his arm looks for real than Bill needs to ensure he is in the gym 24x7 in the off-season.
