Belichick apologizes to media

Brady more so than Bill loves it when he's on the winning side eagerly running out to midfield with all the cameras on him to shake the losing QB's hand. But when he loses, he sprints to the locker room. I can't remember what game it was were Brady finally got called out by a QB leaving him hanging midfield.

It had nothing to do with press conferences which I don't care about.
Tom is a little ***** after a loss. No question.

BB is a crotchety, ornery, cantankerous grump after a loss.

My point earlier is I think other teams are just as bad.

With that said Ratbird Boy was very polite after his dumbass decision for the 2pt conversion.

As the Ratbirds are playing the Bengals next, he could have handled his presser with "We're on to Cincinnati," and left all the questions about his going for the two point conversion in the dust.

If he was my neighbor I wouldn't loan him any of my tools. Not even a rake.

Just something about him is so slippery.
If he was your next door neighbor, he'd probably be blowing the leaves from his yard into your yard with his leaf blower, when you weren't home.

Dude that happened to me last year. My neighbor hired a clean-up service and the SOBs blew a whole bunch of leaves on my just-recently-cleaned up yard. I saw this, went outside and told them to remove them. They did. I was pissed.

Not to mention he hates old people, children, and dogs

if he was your next door neighbor he'd be reporting you to the police every time you don't pick up your dog's poop in your own yard, while simultaneously letting his dog run into your yard to poop there and not picking it up.

The real answer is probably the scariest! Sound like he might be preparing for post coaching life as a broadcaster , which would mean he would become one of them!

Definitely think his wife/girlfriend/Linda got in his ear or wanted to set an example for Steve and Brian. One or the other. Or a combination of both as this is a first for him that I’ve ever seen at least.

BB is nobody's fool, he apologizes and there isn't a week's worth of his players being asked about how pissed off he is. It's not as though he meant it or even worse, smiled and shook hands with the press. He just worked 'em and moved on.

Honestly this is what I thought as well haha. Another defensive play. Shut the media up by pandering, give your guys a relatively quiet week of practice instead of letting their """"journalists"""" make their own ridiculous stories.

They are an essential part of professional sports. Also, the vast majority of them simply do their jobs and report facts. The “jackals” usually arent the journalists, they tend to be broadcasters. I’m happy BB is treating the press like people lately.

One can debate how essential they are, however and despite the "essential" aspect, "vast" majority "simply report facts" is untrue, full stop. Vast suggests one would have to look long and hard for low element clickbait examples. That's simply not true.

However, if one needs a lifeline thrown to that reality, one can look to a significant portion of the public that encourages, through their clicking/viewing actions, the success of hissy fit gossip clickbait (recall Tom Brady's own descriptive comment regarding the largest sports journalism media outlet, ESPN).

They are an easy target for fans and players/coaches alike, but without them we'd feel no connection to the teams. I stand by my statement that most report facts. The "jackals" simply get the most press. That's the very reason they are jackals to begin with.

Tom Brady might call out ESPN on one hand, but on the other he's relying on them to publish his Man in the Arena documentary. Same thing with countless retired stars who find broadcasting jobs. Many turn into "jackals" themselves.

Yes. I wonder what brought it on? I mean his Sat press conference wasn't that unusual for him.
Yea I didn't think his was more prevaricating and grumpy than normal.

Maybe he truly is mellowing?
