Oh look...Mr. Sunny Side Of The Street is here to blow unicorns and rainbows up our wazoos...STOP IT!Perfect game. Got the W and lots of teaching opportunities for the rook QB. If he was feeling ****y, he won’t in a week.
The problem with what you're saying about Andrews is that picking up stunts and delayed blitzes have been his biggest issue his entire career. Sunday's pick up of the stunt was the exception for him. Not the rule.while I agree with your points, I was thinking road game, 4 day rest, trap game, looking past Atlanta...all these things EASILY could have shown up tonight. We've seen letdowns league wide over the past seasons in these Thursday games. So, I'm not going to really harp on the sporadic lapses in concentration. To be frank, I expected much WORSE. This win convinced me this team IS for real. I had to see this tonight, I admit.
The Pats defense gave me 54 points in my league..
Thanks, I've been all over the dial looking for it.Now on WSBK-38.
Gotcha. I just feel that with this D, we can afford to play the field position game. Punting is fine, just minimize the turnovers. The int by mac wasnt great, but he threw 85%Oh i mean how the offense would sputter
I don't know how you get so much vitriol out of what I posted. I NEVER mention Andrews. I also said I thought BEFORE the game that it COULD be a trap game, going off my experience watching these games over the years. Why you call me a dumbazz for relating a purely historical perspective is beyond me. My final point was I would have expected worse if this team was not the team they proved out to be tonight. WTF is your problem with me?The problem with what you're saying about Andrews is that picking up stunts and delayed blitzes have been his biggest issue his entire career. And stop with the BS. This wasn't a trap game except for dumbass fans.. I guarantee you that no one on the team was looking past Atlanta. No one. Especially after BB told everyone in the lockerroom immediately after the Cleveland game "THIS IS WEDNESDAY". He has assignments for them for THAT NIGHT..
You might have expected worse, but I actually expected BETTER from the veteran O-line that the Pats have.
Also too soon to tell for Joe Judge in NYG..The league is in a tough position regarding hiring Pats assistants. McDaniels has the goods with developing Mac. The Pats D has the goods whoever you credit for it. Teams should be swooping in, but every single Pats assistant has shat the bed* when getting the big job and it’s a tough sell.
*Acknowledging that Bill O’B was relatively successful in Hou and it’s still too soon to judge fairly for Miami.
