If you didn't catch who tackled Gilmore on his interception return...

The irony here is palpable. I don't put people on ignore in general, but feel free to with me if you so choose.

Nah I'll happily reply to your unsolicited diahhrea posts and gladly recount all the crappy ways the offense isn't maximized with the current oc. Thanks.

.

Can we get Mac to play fb/te and safety as well as qb? Guy is out there fn up 260 lb linebackers and tackling 4.4 CBS.

... It was Mac Jones, slows him down solo until some teammates converged. This dude has some heart. Saw this on Reddit.

I love this. It isn't evenn just that he tackled him. Look at his form. Takes a wide stance and absolutely makes sure he's square on Gilmore so he can respond if he makes a move, then grabs him securely as he goes by and makes sure Gilmore can't break the tackle. That was a textbook open field tackle. I'm not sure I've ever seen a QB with such a good tackling form. Brady certainly never did that that I can recall.

Your schtick is getting old. Yeah it's true I don't like Bentley, Mills, or Godchaux. But I love how you think about me when I'm away. You're right, maybe I should stop writing about the defense and go back to pointing out how crappy the oc is. Or just put me on ignore, I honestly could care less.

.

This post is priceless. NEM Jr. telling some one their “ Schlick is getting old” when he posts the same crap every day of every year.

“I don’t know what we are going to do with you, but you can play football”

I actually prefer Mac didn't do that. That is how serious injuries happen to QBs.
I somewhat disagree, because he actually displayed very good form... I don't see a lot of risk of injury here if he's a little bit bigger than the DB (which you'd guess he usually is) and he's not trying to get to wild with his moves. Not leading with the head or something. As @Simpelton said above - squared his shoulders, got hands on him, good form.

I'd rather Mac tackle than try to slide. Have you seen him slide? It atrocious

Andrew Luck esque. That didn’t work out too well.

I do love Mac’s fire though.

The issue is not the tackle IMO, but he could get blind side blocked while chasing to make the tackle. It is the blocks by a guy 250+ that will really hurt.

This is like when Tommy would throw his body into blocks his first year as a starter. Certainly don't want Mac doing this long term but a 23 year old should be ok. Definitely like the fearlessness and competitiveness.

Because he does not practice making tackles, so that can lead to injuries or getting blindside blocked in the face. His job is to throw the ball, maybe if he can throw it to the right team he will not have to make as many of those.

Maybe he does practice making tackles. Who knows. He and Sophie do weird **** in their backyard.

Tom Brady has 13 career tackles, all with New England. Mac Jones only needs 12 more to tie the GOAT. The man is on a mission.

he had intercepted Mac. You saw what he does when you sack him. No risk of injury my $#%^&.

He's Ronnie "Sunshine" Bass from "Remember the Titans"

I do love the fact that he's willing to be physical. he leads from example and that sets the tone for a very physical offense.
