I suspect that 12 positions are truly up for grabs.

Dressing like a rapper and hanging out with rappers is not an ego problem.

I don’t want him because now that I see we have something to work/build with, I’d rather look at other positions that are more important right now/‘22, ‘23. Notably cornerback. I think lb is going to be a problem in the future.

We’re in “win in 1-2 years” mode. Obj doesn’t fit.

but the cultural locker room stuff shut up. Seems like a cool dude.

The Pats need a slot receiver more than anything else. Neither guy fits that bill unless adding one of the moves Bourne full time into the slot.

OBJ easily, DeSean is still fast but is made of glass. He basically cannot be tackled or he’ll break.

Obj by far. Main concerns are ego and $.

If he clears waivers that takes care of both imo. He eats a slice of humble pie, takes a "prove it" deal, and goes to the team of his choosing. He will have no one to blame and nothing to complain about.

if we get OBJ we are in a win it this year mode. There’s no other reason to do it. Especially if they have to outbid any other teams. It will be very interesting to see the details if OBJ signs with the Pats. It will say a lot about how BB views this team if he goes all-in to land OBJ for the rest of the season.

I would go with Bourne in the slot, unless they see Gunner as a slot receiver. I’m fine with them splitting it.
