He'll get alot more than Reid did. It's a shame other people always suffer when the drunks hit the road.

A very tragic story...do not drink and drive!!!!

Yep…and in the worst twist of irony, it’s always the drunk driver that protects himself at the last moment by avoiding the worst crash angle.

Horrible news... may the family and friends of the victim find peace.

Why is it that it always seems like the POS drunk walks away without a scratch but the other person/people involved suffer life changing - if not life ending - injuries??

One of the he most irresponsible things you can do. Especially when you're a multimillionaire and your employer offers a car service on call 24/7 to avoid thing like this.

Doooooooooosh.

Because the drunk driver sees the oncoming crash and makes a last second attempt to protect himself. The driver in the other car is a sitting duck.

Checked the Raiders forums and they're more concerned about their season and Ruggs's career than the fact that a guy they root for just killed somebody.

The tragic irony is that this guy's nickname and official shirt (which I won't post here) is "Speed kills".

there's a warm place in hell for this human piece of excrement

Me and my wife got hit head on by a drunk driver a few years ago hit us head on, luckily we weren't hurt too bad but we did have minor injuries. He was fine, try to make a dash but a few people who saw it pulled over and chased him down, Come to find out he just got out of jail for a year for DUI and within a week he was back in. They put him back in for 5 years I think. These millionaires have no excuse.

I guess we will see how far the league has come as far as punishment since Stallworth and Leonard Little. Both guys got off with a slap on the wrist from both the league and the criminal justice system.

He should go to jail. There is no excuse for this.

And say goodbye to your NFL career.

Just like the Chiefs fans concerned about Britt Reid being a distraction for the game.

He most likely will if convicted. DUI with death is a felony in Nevada. Carries a non-probationable punishment of minimum 2 years up to maximum of 20 years.

This is a very sad story. I echo the sentiments of posters pointing out all the other options he - as an NFL player - had to get home…. Don’t they literally have a # to call in every city ?
