He had a STRIP SACK & (officially) TWO INTs and I think he had like two more (felt like 3) taken away by friendly refs. not sure about “brilliant”
I was watching TB game while actually looking at pats gamecenter and the GDT. (Only game on German tv). So I should be excused if I get it wrong, but IMO he seemed rattled by NO D and off on a lot of throws. Is it now his age, or just a bad one-off day (with almost 400 yards LOL).
And what would the Pats have done without Mills for the first 8 7 games?? Because Gilmore hasn't have played yet. He may not play next week against the Pats. Do you stop and think before you post?
There were some red flags on Barmore coming out. Though he supposedly overcame them and showed himself to be a huge team player and a fantastic learner..
Jones was seriously off especially in the first half. He had some throws that we’re not even close. Still the play calling again was suspect. The holding calls killed them, but they were obvious holds.
the defense which looked very iffy in 5he first two drives, really stepped up. Herbert looked like he caught whatever was ailing Jones and was very inaccurate in th3 second half. That pick 6 had to have been a misread on either Herbert or the TE.
That last drive reminded me of the 2020 opener against the Phins. 7 minutes, went up by two scores, made 5he Chargers use all of thier TO, you can’t get much better than that.
It's hard to be perfect. OC should have reigned Tom in. Sometimes running the ball and using your timeouts is appropriate [see That horrible SB loss to the Iggles...]
One thing I thought early on: the Chargers clearly came out amped up. Like, as they say, super charged. That opening drive and that surge for the touchdown. I always feel like when teams come out like that their fuse is going to burn down quickly, and the game is 60 minutes long, not five. The Patriots are always in it for 60. That kind of played out today.

He didn’t have any picks called back by refs I have no idea what you’re talking about.
Anyway I have no idea why this is being discussed in here but Brady played great, moved the ball almost at will and the game was only close due to Bucs defensive penalties. But at the very end Brady had the ball and choked by making either a bad throw or dumb decision. It happens. God knows we’ve seen it every now and then in unfortunate regular season games over the prior 20 years.
Josh Uche was a draft pick on his rookie deal and only has a base salary of $538k and total compensation if he makes his bonuses under $1M. Not a big deal. Give the guy a chance to learn how to play linebacker in the NFL.
Your point about N'keal Harry is right - three excellent catches at key moments in the game, including on the long 4th quarter drive that iced the game. If he can be trusted in big situations along with Agholor, Bourne, Henry and Smith, the Patriots receiving corps is fine.
The defense was great today. Too bad they gave up that last TD while essentially playing prevent to run the clock.

Barmore is a beast.
JC & DMac recovered well after that first drive's mishaps.
Mills did okay in mid-game, but gets stupid in the clutch. He gave up at least 3 big plays on the final 2 drives, including that ridiculous TD catch. He was in perfect position, but jumped about 5 seconds too early and couldn't concentrate on the ball. hate that!
Collins could have had a sack-fumble if he didn't do a lazy whiff on Herbert.
