It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Would have rather this game been in NE rather than travelling to the west coast to play a team coming off their bye week. Oh well.We shut Herbert down last year and it's not like he wasn't good as a rookie, so there's a chance we limit him again. Might be wishful thinking though (or just not enough to win the game), as the 2021 Chargers are clearly not the 2020 Chargers.
We've stayed competitive against better teams, so don't write this game off as an automatic loss.
I haven't really cared about the close losses as I've looked at this as pretty much a developmental season. But if we grab a win here and contine make some quick progress, I'll probably start to get more upset about not coming away with any Ws out of MIA, TB, DAL.I hope we win.
A win here and we are back in the playoff race. A loss here and we are still probably out of it imo.
The Miami one hurt. We could have won that.I haven't really cared about the close losses as I've looked at this as pretty much a developmental season. The trick is to use the run to set up the pass. Chargers are happy sitting back in pass defense letting you run and trying to have 13 play drives. There is a way to beat the Chargers. Run the ball on them their run defense stinks. That will also limit Herbert's possessions
Bills schedule is cake the next 3 weeks. We're not really competing with them right now though. Next year hopefully we'll be ready to do that.Pretty important game if we have playoff aspirations. Conference game, meanwhile the Bills have the lowly Phins.
Which means we are going to come out 5 wide and throw :-DChargers are giving up 5.4 yards per carry on the ground.
Compare that to other teams with notable bad run defenses - the 2002 Pats (4.7), the 2020 Pats (4.5), 2016 49ers (4.8), 2013 Bears (5.3)
