A little Stidham is on the way

Still will never understand why Cam was the QB at the end of the lost last season. Why wouldn't BB have given the kid a chance to play himself "in or out" of our future plans? We already knew Cam wasn't the guy .. why not see what we had? Never made any sense to me. Said should've started the last game or two,
Eh. I think BB already knew what Stidham was. Backup material at best. Too many unfixable flaws to be a starter but he has a good arm and he's fine in small doses. Backup QB is not the worst career to have in the league.

They also resigned Cam so I'm not sure if BB and the coaching staff really knew he wasn't the guy. As hard as that is to believe after a season like that.

cam wants to get ppl pregnant too.
cam wants to eat too...

Cam had the worst QB season I've ever seen statistically and it was even worse with the "eye test". It was flatout awful.

Stid for all his warts and INTs in his limited game action actually looked like a professional QB. I would've taken that over Cam any day. But arguing this is like Trump/Biden or Vax/Non-Vax. Neither of us will convince the other to change our mind. I love Mac as our QB and am happy the way things worked out. Cam still being out of the league where there are teams with 3rd stringers playing should tell all of us what everyone else thinks about Cam. He had a nice career, but is an absolute BUM now.

Maybe he can spend all this extra free time learning how to write a tweet I can actually read and understand.

Stid looked like the 4th round project that he actually is.

Cam's season last year was one for the books, and we've seen some doozys.

Babies are great, but easy to make.

should I put on a button down and pay a photographer $300 to stand in front of a tree cause I.... had raw sex again?

it’s corny.
Way to pass judgement without knowing a goddamn thing about them. They are excited and happy about the next chapter in their lives.

...and you **** on it. Good for you.

Based on some reporting from Greg Bedard around the time of Stidham’s back surgery, it’s entirely possible that Stidham’s back injury originated last season. It’s possible, even with Cam’s shoulder and abdomen injuries, that Newton was the healthiest of the 2 QBs at the end of last season.

Despite what posters here who actively root against a player just to brag how astute they are at player evaluations, it doesn’t make sense that Stidham didn’t play because the Pats had already declared him a dud. The Patriots would not have carried him on the 90 man roster until he could be placed on the in season PUP and be eligible to return and then start practicing on the first day he could if they felt that way about him.

When he is ready to play, I won't be shocked that he is activated and Hoyer gets cut and put back on the practice squad.
