2018 patriots draft; a look back; hint its terrible

Love threads like this where the OP makes a ridiculous comment with ZERO comparison while acting like they are the bees knees..

Wynn - 4 year starter.
Michel - Starting caliber RB (NOT superstar)
Bentley - 4 year contributor
Ryan Izzo - back-up TE, capable Special Teamer.

Berrios - Capable Slot Receiver. IRed in 2018. Tried to hide him on the PS in 2019. Jets grabbed him.
Keion Crossen - Back-up DB. Couldn't break through a stacked defensive backfield during 2019. Was Houston's starting Slot Corner in 2020.

Duke Dawson - Bust - Traded for a 6th rounder. Couldn't break through a stacked backfield once healthy. Back on the IR with Houston.

Danny Etling and Cristian Sam - 6th rounders that the Pats took flyers on..

7of 9 players are still in the league. The only ones NOT in the league is Christian Sam and Danny Etling. And Etling was in camp with the Seahawks and Vikings this year.

Care to show what the other 31 teams did with their 2018 Picks?
This is a laughable take but why am I not surprised from the Matt Chatham group text ring leader. I bet you go to bed in a belichick cape every night.

ill sum up the 2018 nfl draft for you

Wow this was just terrible. As bad as the draft was good when we got both Chandler Jones and Hightower in the first round.

Pats keep starting from a hole with how bad the top picks have panned out. Hopefully the last 2 drafts can fix the crap from 2013-2019 when BB was listening to moron roommates from ohio

.

Some if you seem to be foaming at the mouth hoping for it
This is just more of the same drivel from the same idiots. They think they are making a point when actually they are just embarrassing themselves. These posters were complaining about the team when the team was winning. They just looked for things to ***** about during all of the wins and superbowls. Now that the team is not as successful they feel like they have the right to puff out their chest and say 'see, I was right" blah blah blah...

Losers only want to tear down winners. They will never give credit to the good. They only want to point out the bad. You will never see any of them give any credit to anyone for any win or SB win etc. It was always excuses and a bunch of nonsense. They would slither away when the team won. I mean go back and look what would happen after a big RS win or PO win or SB win. Never a " congrats" or " good win" or anything. It just a clan of miserable posters who think they are clever when they are obviously just projecting their loser life here.

They are just going to repeat the same garbage over and over again because it makes them feel like they were right about something which is rare for them.

Just a bunch of incel clowns who probably haven't accomplished a thing in life. I am embarrassed for them

Funny that the owner of the team has no problem admitting the drafting was poor but you’re in here defending the wall as always.

We could have draft Lamar Jackson, DJ Moore, Calvin Ridley, Nick Chubb, Darius Leonard - that is what other teams did.

Ridley and Chubb would have been great. Fred Werner instead of Dawson.
Two years in a row the Pats had plenty of players available to help rebuild the offense, yet find an excuse for their poor drafting.

I didn't know much about Fred Warner until my friend, a 9ers fan, was raving about him after they drafted him. He was also hyped up during his 1st training camp and we know why now.

Did those other teams win the SB ? Did they hit on every draft pick of 2016 ? Or 2015 ? Check out Indy (Leonard’s team) in 1992.

But yes, NE was only able to pick up a RB who played a key role in a SB, and two starters : LT & LB.

There is no question that it didn’t work out as well as NE would’ve liked. But this tossing out other team’s best case scenarios while not realizing they have failed even more - overall - is a bit slanted.

I am not going to sit here and talk about things the Patriots did when my son was in kindergarten. The Patriots won Super Bowls because of Brady. Bruce Arians and Andy Reid were solid NFL coaches enter Mahomes and Brady and they are champions. Look at the final four QBs last season - Allen, Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers.

The last time an elite QB didn’t win a SB was against a Belichick coached team with their #2 CB being benched because Belichick personalized their contract discussions.

It is interesting how referencing other teams bad decisions is acceptable for justifying our bad decisions but when you talk about the other teams good decisions it’s not acceptable.

I just wonder how Harry looks at the receivers taken after him and thinks I should demand a trade and change to #1.
