I think right now we are where the Rex Ryan Buffalo Bills were. They also didn't have much of a passing game and tried to get by with good defense and a good running game, and the results of that was a mixed bag. Sounds familiar I think.Yet half the board seems to think it is only a couple year process before we're right back in it. My post was simply stating the franchise has nose dived even with Bill still here. Some seem to be getting their panties in a bunch but it is what it is. I didn't proclaim we will never win a game. I just stated a simple observation but the homer patrol doesn't like numbers.
So if the Bills could build from that to a contender in about a 3 year timeframe - there's no reason why Bill the supposed greatest coach of all time couldn't coach this team to the same thing in the same time. I don't think he should (nor will he) get forever to build this team, we are not starting from scratch like the Jets.
