He has been a pleasant surprise so far....can't keep him off the field.

Doesn't matter how bad your OL is if your DL obliterates the opposing offense all game long, gets turnovers inside field-goal range and maybe a defensive score *taps head meme*

Today is going to be telling. If what we're hearing is true, Wynn is out for the full ten days so scratch him. But if Onwenu, Mason, and Brown practice today, they all have a chance to play on Sunday. The range of starting OL we could be playing on Sunday is wide.

Today OL practice attendance could look a bit brighter .

“.. to be ready to go.“ is the last part of the sentence Reiss for some reason left out.

I really hope Onwenu can play, even while presumedly missing practice all week on the Covid list. And, Redmond played 4? years with the Rams, so it's not like he would be useless if Mason can't go. Then, it's just a tackle mix-and-match...
Didn't Sherman play some RT in preseason?

Redmond played with da Bungles all 5 of his years in the league, but would indeed be useless if Mason can't go.

I know I saw Sherman at RG during the preseason; don't know if I ever saw him at RT... Dude's future in the league - if he has one at all, which I'm pretty sure he doesn't - is on the Left side of the OL anyway.

More Bullsh!t from Billy.

Something is terribly wrong with the OL (duh) and at this point we have to seriously start questioning the coaching. Most of these guys played well last year (Onwenu, Andrews, Mason, & even Wynn). Brown was always going to be a crap shoot because he hasn't been able to stay on the field since 2018.

What changed? The lead OL coach and a rookie QB is the only difference.

oh boy....

Four of their five starters are injured/unavailable this week.

I wouldn’t draw conclusions that something is horribly wrong in the OL room based on four games (after an encouraging preseason). I went back and watched Brown during the preseason and although his snaps were limited, he looked good and I didn’t see any effort issues.

There’s a lot of season to play and this week is a bit of a fluke for obvious reasons. If they show no improvement over the season and mistakes aren’t corrected, then there may be grounds to speculate that something is seriously wrong. Even then, maybe Popovich is a good coach and his return will help next season.

Love your rosey outlook but no, something is terribly wrong. That is obvious.

Pats will lucky to score 10 points behind that Oline, and Jones will be lucky if he can walk away intact after this game. Hopefully they beat the crap out of Mills, not enough to hurt him, but enough to cause him to give us several turnovers. If the O can score 10 points, and then the D or special teams can get us some points, might just win this game with the worst Oline in history.

I find it hard to imagine the Texans out score the Pats. But this O line scares the sheet out of me for Mac. Poor guy.

I see a 13-10 game.

That Pats (-10) line is looking a bit ambitious. Time to update Predict the Score numbers.

Let's hope Jaime "The Freak" Collins shows up and makes a difference.
