Next to our O-line, this has been the most disappointing position on our team so far. What do we do going forward? Harris is a stud, don't think anyone will argue that but, JJ had a huge fumble last night and we didn't see him after that. I love the way Bolden picks up the blitz, but don't want to see him running the ball or catching it too often out of the backfield I think we revisit playing RHAM and see what he can do. Do we try and bring in a FA player...I know we had a few in for tryouts last week, but in our offense, it might take them a while to pick up the scheme.

Any thoughts? Obviously, getting Brown back will help, but at this point, can we rely on him staying healthy?

I think the OL is affecting the RB group....last year, we had something in the running game with Onwenu and Mason together

When brown comes back, I would:
- move Onwenu to RT
- move Wynn to LG
- put Brown at LT

is it me or does Wynn look like he's lost all of his balance and mobility?

I think you're right about our OL affecting our running game. I thought Wynn was better in the 2nd half last night, but your point about him is well taken.....

Harris- "Stud". Well, is he? When I think of stud I think of Nick Chubb, Derick Henry, Najee Harris, Christian Mccaffrey. Is he even close to these guys? I think Harris is good, maybe very good. He can run, break tackles and score touchdowns. But he can't catch and he can't pass block. So we won't see him on the field every down.

We traded away Sony Michel, I consider him a first round bust. Others think he won us a superbowl. Either way, we shipped him off in his prime for a low draft pick.

JJ Taylor and Stevenson are in the dog house for fumbling

Bolden is not an NFL player, period.

Trent Brown is a stud. stud suits him perfectly. he's a mammoth and he can move. He will help the blindside big time. Wynn is severely overrated.

I would be up for trading for Marlon Mack, a good RB who could really help us and is on the trading block

Wynn is hot garbage. Stick him a guard and pray he doesn't screw up. Trent Brown is pro bowl level.

What do you do with Rham and JJ, keep them in the dog house and bring in someone else or play one of them? Going to be interesting.

Rham can run. Bring him out of the doghouse and turn him loose on the cats.

Trade a mid-late round pick for Marlon Mack who wants out of indianapolis. He looked good yesterday coming off ACL surgery. He's young and he can run and block and catch

I would definately give Rham another chance and get him active. I accept that fumbling is not acceptable but we are just making the problem worse.

Edwards Hilaire has fumbled at the Chiefs yet they still play him and he scores touchdowns.......a fair comparison ?????

Putting the cart ahead of the horse. Useless to rip a new one for the RBs without first addressing the major problems with the OL, by far the worst unit on the team.

I think the hype on Harris is dying down. He is a good one-two punch guy but he can't be the only guy and so far that seems to be the case. Stevenson needs to get out of the doghouse plain and simple. He is needed out there to spell Harris and be a closer late in games when the defense is tired and we need a busier. I don't know what the point of keeping JJ Taylor on the roster is this year if he is going to lose his snaps to Brandon Bolden of all people. Bolden has no business playing any real offensive snaps.

Excellent point about Mack, didn't think about him...might be worth a look.

In other words, he's been implicitly taught that it's ok to fumble and he'll do it again except it'll cost KC big time.

At this point, literally everyone but Bolden has fumbled, so you gotta clean the slate there because there's no other choice besides going with someone who's already fumbled.

Then you have to look at the specific roles. Harris seems to clearly be our best pure rusher, and Bolden the best pass protector. I think there's potential for Taylor to be the receiver without White, but he hasn't proven he can do it yet. The problem is all of our guys seem to be good at exactly one thing and bad at the other things, so it really narrows down the play possibilities when you see one on the field.

I hope Bill can loosen up on burying young players for mistakes. We're rebuilding and need to see who is in it for the long haul. Bolden, or some JAG might possibly get us one more win (and that is doubtful), but so what this year. I'm much more interested in seeing if we have anything with Rham and JJ.

What do you do with Rham, give him another shot?

I think rham will be active in the games we are actually planning to run. I think bb knew wed have minimal success on the ground and therefore harris wont need someone to take carriers from him. At this point we really dont have a choice imo but to keep him and jj in the plans.

for 3rd down back im hoping theres a fa out there. Remember plucking woodhead off the street in 2010… obviously wont get that lucky again but theres gotta be someone better than bolden

This offensive line is putrid and every RB is going to struggle. And Sony wouldn’t have been the answer as he has to have perfect blocking to be effective.

But benching a guy and making him inactive could backfire as I’m sure it’s leaving a bad taste with Rham. He goes from playing opening day to inactive 3 weeks in a row? Not sure if Coaches are aware, but RB’s do make mistakes on occasion.

I’m tired of seeing Bolden out there and it’s not helping Mac.

Harris, Rham, Taylor need to be the primary backs.
