Nope. Don’t like

Sign me up!!!!

It will be more fun for casial fans as you dont burm out on two days of back to back football for 10+ hours. But I think it would be horrible for the game and for fairness. The playoffs shouldnt gove a team such a monsterous advantage. Imagine a team playimg on Saturday at homw, getting to play at home against a team that played on Monday. I'm all for the higher seed getting the home feild edge. But a potential 48+ hours to rest for your opponent serms incredibly unfair in a single game elimination format.

I actually don't like this as I don't stay up for MNF games unless the Patriots are involved. I do like to watch every playoff game but this one (unless it's us) will likely be skipped from now on. Honestly, I hate all night games unless I have the day off from work the next day (which is rare).

DITTO

Another genius move by gotohell. Does he do anything that isn’t driven by either ratings or Patriots-envy.

Makes zero fing sense.

Just like that new dumb rule where only one team gets a bye.

NFL needs to go back to the drawing board. Horrible.

This is exactly what would happen.

You'd see a road team win on Monday and then be playing on the road Saturday.

Dilute, dilute, dilute.

Terrible just terrible

I like when there's fewer days without football to watch, but the competitive implications of this aren't great.

My thoughts exactly. You're already now only giving one team a bye week, which is a huge advantage for that one team, but now there's a good chance they've got an opponent on short rest in the divisional round.

This helps the Chefs. Book those flights to LA. No way a WC team upsets a rested #1 seed on a short week. They really love that Hunt family. Domestic abuse be damned.

Highly doubt the winner of the Monday game would play the following Saturday. They would play the following sunday. No different than a team winning sunday on wild card week and playing Saturday in the divisional round. Happens all the time.

now if they do make teams play Monday and then Saturday then that it’s insane

Per Conference:

4 Division winners
1 Wild Card
Top Division winner gets the bye

Games at 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM EST Saturday
Games at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM EST Sunday

And GET OFF MY LAWN!

One wild card lol?

Wait til they go to 18 game seasons and 20 playoff teams.

They had better call that game the “Wildest Card” or the idea is ****.
