Barring injuries, the Buccaneers will be tough to dethrone

They have ridiculously shallow depth on offense. The lose either Hill or Kelce they take a massive step back.
The other thing is their offense is very one dimensional IMO. So much of it is Mahomes just improvising or vertical throws. I am not sure what happened as they were different when they had Hunt. Much more diversified with their play calling and making the defense defend the whole field. I wonder if they are falling victim to the Mahomes press clippings. I mean the guy is great but it may be the Lebron factor. You kind of just let him go just expecting him to be great every play. Their margin for error is really ridiculous when you think about it especially since the defense is so bad.

haha good thing the guy knew he was taunting them and didnt respond

but it amazes me that people don't realize what assault is.. its 100% illegal to dump a drink on someone lol, and being angry/frustrated is not a justification

While I do envy their offensive talent, they are quite top heavy & their defense revolves solely around Mathieu & Jones. If Hill or Kelce go down for an elongated period of time…they’re toast.

They are not winning the Super Bowl. I question if they will even get there.

Browns, Ravens, or Bills from the AFC. Call it the Super Bowl loser's curse....

Chiefs window is rapidly closing... If someone puts a well placed shoulder into that POS Tyreek's knee, then the window will be slammed shut. Once Mahomey's cap numbers start catching up with them then their days will be numbered as a dominant team

No kidding. Remember the fan that dropped water on Kyrie? People wanted him executed. But crickets for Jackson. Typical.

He was probably just angry that he couldn’t find a good guy on GRINDR in the area and took it out on the Ravens fans below. He’ll do an extremely sus dance on TikTok and get over it.

i was watching the highlights of the game(which by the way, nfl if you're listening, penalties are not ****ing highlights) and mahomes threw one of the worst interceptions I've ever seen.

I think he's bought into his own hype a bit and thinks he's unable to do anywrong and just chucks the ball up and expects there to be no consequences.

That was a bad, bad loss for the Chiefs. Chiefs were close to 100% healthy. The Ravens were banged up and that's an understatement.

1) He's trying to live up to his deal.
2) He's trying to do too much.

Their defense is horrible. I have no idea how the media can praise Brett Veach after that OL debacle in the SB and the cap hell they're in. Mahomes makes 30 mil this year and 40+ from here on out. This is their last chance in the small window they have and if they get the injury bug, in all seriousness NE can run all over them, control the clock and possibly slow them down again like they did last year on D. It's the crap teams like Baltimore and their D that make them look so explosive.

Notice how every GM in the league gets heaps of praise all offseason and it doesn't match up when the games are played. Veach in KC, DeCosta in Baltimore, Ballard in Indy, Beane in Buffalo, etc. Magically, all these GMs are just so amazing yet their teams underwhelm.

it's week 2........a little early to be handing out assessments

in 6 super bowl winning seasons, the pats went

2-0 twice
1-1 three times
0-2 once

by Pats standards, we are still in the preseason

No. It's one game. You could say they were lucky to beat Cleveland. But they were kind of unlucky last night. How often does Mahomes throw a head scratching pick? Or the RB fumble? It was a one off.

1-1 with Chargers upcoming. I see a bounce back win. Herbert is mistake prone. 45-13 Chiefs.

The defense is definitely a concern. But Veach will do whatever it takes to improve on it.

Bottom line is there isn’t a perfect team in this league. By that I mean a team without defencies.

Only team that can beat us is us--injuries and self inflicted costly errors.

Your defense is uber crap. Baltimore runs a high school defense and you could not even SLOW THEM DOWN in the second half. Lamar made you look like it was 2019... before people figured out their high school crap and started forcing him to pass from the pocket.

Our D was crap in 2019 too. Then, things turned around.

It's two games.

It's the State Farm ads. Mahomes has the Aaron Rodgers jinx. It's best for all concerned if you get used to disappointment.
