It's easy, and only takes a few moments. This is where we needed a Mike Wallace here asking the questions and not this Jim Gray-esque canned softballs from his dad.....I'm confused about the trip being some kind of "set-up"? Cam seems to be saying he was tricked because the Patriots cleared the trip and he wouldn't have gone if he knew that would be the result. But he wasn't held out because he took a trip. The problem was he did not test himself properly. It really has nothing to do with the trip... Am I missing something here?
Thats why Mac won. Here's a gem I just heard in the video...
Cam: "I was like Josh, like bruh, it's so new to me, like I've never been in a system that required me to know where the mike is, to know the front, to identify you know, certain fronts, and XYZ."
Watching further on, he and his dad spend a full minute talking about how horrible the pieces around Cam were last year. A lot of those guys are uh, still on the team...Thats why Mac won.
Bottom line.
They're not even softball questions, most of the time Cam is trying to say one thing and his dad says no you're wrong, let me talk, they screwed you, I'm mad. If anything this video is more about how Cam's dad feels than Cam.This is where we needed a Mike Wallace here asking the questions and not this Jim Gray-esque canned softballs from his dad.....
<In a Mike Wallace voice> Mr. Newton, did your employer the 6X Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots or the National Football league provide you with the name and location of an NFL-approved COVID testing facility in Atlanta"?
Cam paints himself in a poor light: if the man gets jabbed twice like billions of other people including the vast majority of players and coaches surrounding him, then the whole protocol thing disappears and him and his lisfranc get to keep fighting for the job instead of watching for five crucial days. Yet more poor decision making and leadership for Cam. Now he's on the outside looking in, he can't even visit a NFL team without being on the protocol for five days. At least he has a social media career to fall back on, lol.Echo'ing a good comment @venecol made elsewhere: "If that's true, it makes me think someone was definitely trying to paint Cam in a poor light to justify his release. They leaked to media that people were livid inside the organization about his missing practice. Wow, that's pretty sleazy. WTF is going on in that building?"
It does sound like some people in the Pats building are being sleazy. The Ninkovich comments were total bush league. Skip Bayless' criticism was spot on here in terms of a broader narrative, not exactly the best look for Boston. And whoever supposedly leaked the crap rumor to Ninkovich, the not knowing the playbook garbage rumors, is also a human POS.

Even if you think you got done dirty behind the scenes, this is exactly the wrong way to react. You're a grown-ass many crying to daddy in a video about how you got done wrong? GTFO.
