[Mod edited title] Bill said some stuff about COVID vaccines

That's what I said when Brady was complaining about single digit jersey numbers.

All the “numbers” and data that the media references are based on a faulty PCR test that they overcycled to produce more positive results. Now they are changing it in January to be able to differentiate between the normal cold/flu virus and COVID-19 virus. In the interim, they’re still using the flawed testing methodology to drive their reporting. So, yeah, BB wasn’t wrong, no matter how many doctors and mediots they trot out there to try and tell you otherwise. The numbers are based on a lie…fruit of a poisoned tree.

While we're at it, I have some questions about the circumstances behind John F. Kennedy's assassination

While I don't like what he said because of what people like amfootball will make of it. But that being said avoids the trap that Urban Myers fell into and will pay for. This isn't the first time Bill has lied to the press in order to benefit his team. What did people what Bill to do, come out and say, the risk of Cam's covid position. factored into his decision to release him.

Listen, regardless of where you stand on vaccination, the NFL's covid protocols make player availability of an unvaccinated player problematical. It also increases the possibility that the unvaccinated player can spread the virus to even vaccinated players (as bill pointed out)

I read recently that the NFL is now 93% vaccinated, though I'm not sure this number has been confirmed. BUT it seems right to me. Anyway that number is going to get higher sooner rather than later. I only hope that teams that we play this year have lots of unvaccinated players.

What a load of bullish.t.

From a football perspective, our season could be torpedoed from the rules. Bill mentioned that there are a lot of players on our team unvaxed. No one can put a number on it because the Patriots would never release that info not should they BUT if there are a lot of starters in that group, than our season can be tanked before it even begins.

Surely you have a credible source for this?

The NYFL played an entire schedule last year with unvaccinated players slobbering all over each other, had a small number of WV cases and very few if any with serious symptoms. And now they're implementing rules to force players to get vaccinations that may or may not help? Sounds like an addendum to article 46.

That being said, does anyone really believe that the NYFL would be even handed in dealing with violations. I have serious doubts that we'd even hear about a violation by Mahomes or Rodgers, let alone see them taken off the field in a big game.

Seems as if the billionaires are keeping their thumbs on the millionaires.

As for the GOAT being wrong, how many times have we seen that in 20+ years? Not that many.

A lot. Name 2. Look at the side lines. You see anyone in a mask now that Cam's gone? Yes the vaccinated CAN get infected (though their symptoms will be much milder). But the UNvaccinated are 90% MORE likely to get infected.,

This isn't a matter of politics (not that it ever should have been) this is a matter of competitive advantage. Winning or losing football games. An unvaccinated player is a risk not only of getting infected, but spreading the infection. When you have the option of an equal or even slightly lesser of a talent, then why take the risk. It's the untold truth.

The NFL and the NFLPA should have made it mandatory from the start and end this charade

Don’t argue. It’s futile.

Sorry, Ken, but your statements are false. I know at least 3 people who have DIED of COVID despite being vaccinated. Two of which didn't have underlying conditions. No. The unvaccinated are not 90% more likely to get infected. All you have to do is look at the Yankees earlier this year and the Red Sox now. They have BOTH vaccinated and unvaccinated players who have gotten infected. And MLB never released HOW they players got infected to start with.

I have a friend who's vaccinated daughter got COVID and then spread it to the rest of her vaccinated family. And they spread it to other VACCINATED people. They tried to blame a daughter's friend who was unvaccinated who had been at a bonfire with the daughter. Only to find out it was another VACCINATED friend who had spread it. So, this idea that ONLY an unvaccinated player is a risk of getting infected and spreading the infection is complete BS on your part. ANYONE (vaccinated or unvaccinated) can get infected and spread the virus. ANYONE.

Getting back to Cam. Did you watch the Giants game? I seem to remember an UNMASKED Cam following Mac to give him a Hi-5. I saw plenty of players around Cam without masks on. I seem to remember plenty of Practices where Cam, without a helmet on, also didn't have a mask on despite plenty of people standing around him.

Don’t argue. It’s futile.
What's futile is trying to talk sense to people like yourself who really don't know wtf is going on. You take BS opinion articles like the one you posted and try to pass it off as fact regardless of what the truth is.

According to the CDC %99.999 of the fully vaccinated have not gotten seriously ill or died. In total, out of over 160 million Americans who have been fully vaccinated 1,500 have died, and just over 7,000 have been hospitalized, and it is reasonable to assume that the vast majority of those deaths were people in very poor health. The vaccines work, and only those who are completely irresponsible don’t get vaccinated, not including those unable to get the vaccine because of other factors or age.
