Watson to Dolphins?

“Chatter”, huh? The same sources who told him that the Titans were going to be severely punished last season for a big outbreak caused by the players and coaches ignoring Covid protocols? If I recall correctly Vrabel was going to be suspended for the entire season and possibly even executed. Can someone remind me about the last time Florio broke NFL trade or free agency news. I’ll wait…

Me either. We immediately drop to third and then have to pray Mac is up to their caliber as he develops.
There’s a decent chance they’ll finish third anyway even if this move isn’t made. Pats window IMO doesn’t start to open until 2022. Cam will not be on the roster, and it absolutely involves Mac taking a big leap forward like any good QB does in their second year. Brady certainly did.

Eeek…not thrilled about the idea of Watson and Allen in the AFC East.

I haven't been closely following the Watson saga for awhile. Is it the prevailing belief that he'll come through this relatively unscathed? It just seems to me from a limited info big picture perspective that with all the moving parts that it's way too soon to even consider a trade.

True but Allen and Watson have a decade of great football in front of them maybe more. If Mac does not develop to their level at some point in the next few years than we are a perennial third place team.

That throw Allen just made in the game today should be illegal.
Loved Allen coming out fo the draft.

Allen had two bad years and one good year. He MIGHT have a decade of great football. I also might have just had his only great year. Early still. Jackson was unstoppable for BAL.. until he wasn’t.

Watson, imo, has a loooong road ahead of him. His future is uncertain as well.

Anything is possible, but I think Miami is committed to giving Tua a shot. They easily could have given up on him in their draft position for one of the top rookies with minimal loss after trading Tua. Plus he's looked improved in preseason.

Carolina I don't know. Darnold didn't look great last night.

It doesn’t get much weaker of a rumor than

executives of teams not involved say there has been chatter

There's going to be a Watson rumor every 3 weeks until the trade deadline

Mac is gonna be fine. We got the steal of the draft when we drafted him. Still feel that way. They will put players around him. It watson goes to the Dolphins so be it but the texans better asked for the moon.

The AFC East is going to be crazy if this trade happens
