Agree but Mac is even saying he doesn’t think he is ready yet.
That could be out of respect for Cam or not to tip Bills hat.
However he really could be thinking I’m going to watch Cam and learn this season.
I have mixed feelings if he in his mind is going to watch.
First thing I think is ok it’s good for QBs to sit back and learn.
However the second part says to me this was the most pro ready plug and play QB in the last 5 years arguably longer.
If he doesn’t want to lead the team fight now as a rookie coming out of Alabama’s pro style system. I would love to him to have more of a killer instinct.
I would guess he’s just toeing the line and doesn’t want to tip bills hat or upset Cam.

Captain is the self-proclaimed Draft GOD. His drafts have landed him a whopping ZERO rings in 20 years of complaining about Belichick. While Belichick has 6 rings and 9 SB Trips. I mean. Clearly we should all be in AWE of Captain's Abilities to see exactly how players will develop and win rings.. I mean.. His ZERO rings are just blinding..

It’s amazing how resilient Plunkett was, not only traded by the Pats, but dumped by his hometown 49ers after some bad years. Picked up by his hometown Raiders, and the rest is history. I always admired Plunkett’s resilience.

That’s why I always say, situations a player is put in, often times determine his success. For instance, Taneyhill in Miami was just a horrible situation for him. Bad team, bad coaching that didn’t believe in him and the situation wasn’t right there. Signs with Tennessee, and what a difference. Perfect situation for him.

Jerry Glanville was pretty much brutal in all ways.

As a Pats fan living in Atlanta I can attest to how brutally awful he was as a football coach. My favorite Glanville memory: during the preseason he would blitz, disguise coverages etc. In one memorable year the Falcons went 4-0 in the preseason and barely won 3 games during the season. Not screwed, but certainly diminished. I wouldn't rush him. I think we can get by without him if he has to miss the first 6 weeks. We have enough short term depth. However longer than that would make this team go from going from top 5 hopes to top 12. for its D.

Brady did the same thing. Aw shucks in front of the reporters and teammates but among friends was like Drew is not getting his f'ing job back. Mac is absolutely hyper competitive and a ruthless assassin and is probably sleeping on a bed in the stadium thinking about football 18 hours a day. Cam missing this week is the worst thing he could have done (or the Pats staff playing Game of Thrones).
