I want to know the real story with this guy. Teams weren‘t that hesitant to draft him over being a know-it-all, etc. There’s some big problem with his personal life.

Further illustrates how crazy it is to be up n arms about “busts” as (1) it’s tough (2) you can’t easily judge heart (3) even the sure things are no guarantee.

It only "sucks" because you're clueless in your ability to evaluate it. Herron is more than capable as a swing tackle. Contrary to you, he did very well as a rookie.

With Rosen, though, there were all these whispers, implications, etc. that teams didn’t want to draft him even though his talent level was there. But it was a strange criticism…they’d question his leadership but without anything specific. One article said he was too opinionated on politics. Just seemed like one of those things where maybe the character issues were deeper than that and teams weren’t giving reporters much. And there could be numerous reasons for that. That a top 10 pick has flamed out so spectacularly and has gone through four teams now just adds more fuel to my suspicions. I can’t imagine a team that carries three QBs wouldn’t spend a couple of years trying to fix his on-field issues if he weren’t radioactive in other ways.
