Haven't posted in a while, that's about to change because the season is going to start soon. I think Cam gets the nod week 1 but I think Bill will make the switch at some point this season, watching Jones out there reminded me of the offense I was used to seeing with TB12 under center. Pats have a great defense and a young QB at their disposal, similar to what we had in 2001, also like 01, they are coming off a bad year. Bill drafts a QB and beefs up the offense in free agency, Will it pay off? Here's my prediction.

Week 1: Vs Dolphins W 17-14

Week 2: @Jets W 24-10

Week 3: Vs Saints W 17-10

Week 4: Vs Buccaneers L 31-17

Week 5: @Texans W 31-28

Week 6: Vs Cowboys W 21-7

Week 7: Vs Jets W 35-10

Week 8: @Chargers L 31-17

Week 9: @Panthers W 17-7

Week 10: Vs Browns L 38-17

Week 11: @Falcons W 24-17

Week 12: Vs Titans L 28-14

Week 13: @Bills W 14-10

Week 14: Bye

Week 15: @Colts W 35-14

Week 16: Vs Bills W 27-21

Week 17: Vs Jaguars W 17-13

Week 18: @Dolphins L 31- 27

Final Record: 12-5.

I may be completely wrong in a couple of months but as of right now, this is how im feeling the season will play out.

I think this is really a boom-or-bust season due to the high number of free agents and the unknown QB situation. I could see the team going one of two ways depending on their start, as that tends to happen when you're setting a new course with all these new players trying to mesh together and establish their roles. I'll go glass half full at 11-6, wild card berth, because it's still wiser to bet on Bill than bet against Bill, even if that question has a less obvious answer than in the past.

I like what I saw from Jones, albeit a limited look...but I suspect he's the starter sometime in October.

But I have to tell you, I hate that @Miami is the final game because it's the last place I like to see them playing if there's major playoff implications.

I don't see them taking both games against the Bills, but otherwise there's no game that couldn't go the way you've said. Not to say it WILL, but I don't think there's any unreasonable guesses here.

I'm leaning towards 10. My only objection would be assuming a sweep of Buffalo. I don't see that happening.

Initially I thought we would be 10-11 wins but after going through week to week I don’t think so. I think we split with the Dolphins and Bills and take both from the Jets. The Falcons game I think is a toss up on paper but we are on a short week on the road so if I had to pick I would say loss. Chargers is a west coast trip against a team with some talent. The Browns I think could go either way but after seeing Wynn against Chase Young I don't know if he fares any better against Myles Garrett. We are also going to have our run defense put to the test with CMC, Nick Chubb, and Derrick Henry all in a month stretch. Maybe a couple of those toss up games go our way and we go sneak to that 10 win mark but since I am assuming Cam starts the first few weeks then Mac takes over at some point I don't know if this is a realistic playoff team.

I have 9-8 and missing the playoffs - 2-4 in division- but other than that this time we are competitive from wire to wire. Our 2020 season was over in November.

Other than the Bucs the NFC South is soft, but the "3rd place teams" that we got on the schedule might be really good this year - Browns and Chargers so we got a bit unlucky there.

12 wins seems a bit homerish, and I don't view this team as a legit contender in 2021, but this schedule is weak. I don't fear a lot of the opponents that the media is pointing out as likely losses. Indy is an overrated club with a bad QB. The Chargers are chonic onderachiever who we beat 45 - 0 a year ago. The Saints are a mess. Honestly, even though they've had our number, I think Tennessee is eminently beatable, too many holes on that defense.

Terrible as in we lose big?

Terrible as in Dallas @ 7-10 and Atlanta @ 5-12. Only NO will keep Atlanta out of the NFC South cellar and top of the draft.

I've got them 11-5 in the regular season. Good enough for a WC:

Wild Card Round: Defeat Buffalo
Divisional Round: Lose to KC

Dumb Rams win the SB.

12-5

Tampa vs KC rematch in the Super Bowl

10/17 just like our Pats. Started and ended strong but hit that midseason slump being wrong 3 games in a row and 4 games out of 5 lol

And maybe we're a year ahead of schedule here... but a lot of things have to be fixed on defense before we're contending for anything.
