Told you guys that he was a bust.

Jake who?

So if Cam gets hurt and Jones is not ready we are stuck with Hoyer or this Jake guy?

Bill not upgrading our Qb room from last year is unfathomable. We are totally screwed if Jones can't play sooner rather than later and play well.

This call for a release with an injury settlement?

While I think we all know Stidham isn't in future plans, I would prefer him as the back up vs Brian hoyer or Jake who?.

Calm down, Jones will be ready to play.

I'm sorry...and he's just finding this out now? Right at the start of training camp? What's been going on for the last 7-8 months?

I agree. It's unfathomable that BB didn't acquire Mahomes and Hebert in case something like this happened. Should also have gotten Rodgers, Carr and Garrapolo as they were also available. One can never have enough Pro-bowl level QBs available in case of injury.

Stop. He did nothing to get us a viable QB either starter or back up. We literally have the bottom of the barrel for a QB room other than Jones who we have to hope and pray is ready sooner rather than later and can actually play.

Bust

With the exception of Edelman every QB drafted post 2000 has been a bum.
The only QB in that time period that ever had a chance to be "the next one" was JG and he isn't a bum.

99% of 4th round QB picks are what they are. Backups at best. Not NFL starter caliber. The talk that Stidham deserves a shot because Brady was a 6th rounder therefore logically that means Stidham will be good too was of course complete nonsense. He is a bust if you thought he ever was going to be good enough to start, and judging by his college career and his NFL career to date that was and still is a stretch to me. I guess my expectations were lower than most.

Stidham always manages to get hurt when faced with competition, he also got hurt when Cam arrived and he realized he was in for fight.

The guy dances in the pocket under pressure like his feet were on fire, has all the tools but has chicken blood in his veins... say goodbye.

You've been listening to too much Felger and Mazz.

If spending a 1st on a QB isn't upgrading the room, what is? Andy Dalton? Ryan Fitzpatrick?

I don't listen to their show.

Jones is fine but a rookie. We have utter crap around him.

Your right. BB should also have added Goff, Wentz, Stafford, Ryan (who else was available) and Brady. By the way, there's no such thing as a salary cap and the QB plays by himself.

For him? Not a whole lot. A passing camp that just had to be put on social media and probably a couple bang sessions with his hot wife.

From the night he was drafted. This was easy to see coming…
