Yep. Both Bill and Tom (Gronk too) want to win this one decisively. Badly. No question about it.

Really anyone on the Pats who's won a Super Bowl with Tom (McCourty, Hightower, Gilmore, Van Noy, most of the OL, Guy, etc) should want to win this game badly. The way people are talking about Brady, they had nothing to do with those championships. I'm sure they'd love to show that's not the whole story, even if only for one week.

We have literally reached the point where some of us are being criticized for talking about Tom Brady in a thread entitled "Brady returns to Foxboro...."

Maybe the OP was talking about former New England Patriot Tight End Kyle Brady? Is he being honored and I missed it?

The "Durr Brady not Patriot no more!" crowd is ridiculously sensitive to anyone who shows any loyalty to a guy who won us 6 rings.

I am curious, this is a New England Patriot Forum, most of the posters here are New England Patriot Fans, when posters start talking about another team/player and putting down this team/current coach, you are going to get negative feedback. Tom Brady was great for us and is the GOAT, but he is no longer on this team. When he plays against us, most of the fans are going to want to beat his team.

Again, I don't think people/posters are critiquing you or anybody else for talking about Tom Brady. It's when you start putting down our team or coach is when it gets on posters nerves. Also, Brady is no longer here, their point is if you like him so much, which is fine, then go to his team's message board.

I root for the New England Patriots, but I do not subscribe to the idiotic notion that in order to root for a team, one must be a blind homer. I call them out when they f-up, and the decisions made by this franchise in the past 18 months - specifically letting the greatest quarterback of all time leave in favor of a guy who can't hit the broad side of a barn - have been one colossal f-up.

Sorry not sorry but I do not subscribe to the notion that one must not be critical of a team they are a fan of when that team screws the pooch.

I hope we win is a 52-49 shootout. I am nervous he comes in here and destroys us.

I'm more nervous about our team getting too hyped for it, winning, and then going into a slump.

Year in and year out we would see teams treat playing us as the biggest game on their schedule, come in hyped to the gills, play out of their minds and win. Then go straight into the ****ter.

It'll be interesting to see how BB manages that because I think it's a new dynamic.

Yes, facts often get on peoples' nerves, but that does not make a fact any less factual.

Agreed. Jones has made me more optimistic than I have been over the past year so he has made me more excited for the future than I have been at anytime over that period of time.
