If everything plays out as it should this year -

This Colts team is a Dome team. They are built to play in a Dome. The offense has always been built for a Dome, but more than anything else, that small, quick defense, it's built for a Dome. Yeah, they swarm, but on the artificial turf, constant conditions - they're meant for a Dome.

Now when you have a playoff game in late January, that Colts team will be at a huge disadvantage playing in Gillette.

In a season where everyone hates the Pats and games on the road are ferocious, having home field advantage in the playoffs this year for these Pats is HUGE.

One problem, Gillette is artificial turf also.

The Colts also lose that 1/2 step advantage the DEs get from the crowd noise, whether legal or not.

Come January, Pats DEs and LBs get the 1/2 step and Brady gets to use a hard count to draw eager DEs offsides and keep them off balance.

Come mid January that turf will likely have snow and ice in a game played around 5pm. Mathis and Freeney will not be able to run around as they do in RCA(Really Crappy Ambiance) dome.

We showed we can best them home and at RCA. Had it not been for one 3rd pass in AFCCG we'd be going for #5 this yr.
