QB market is moving incredibly slow too. Also, guys who many thought would be available like mariota or Jimmy G haven't sprung free

Mariota may have screwed himself by demanding $20 million
I think last year gave people unrealistic expectations of free agency. The Niner's don't have a better option than Jimmy right now and unless they want to invest high in the draft, it's easier to stick with a guy who could lead them to a SB. Dak was never leaving. Mariota isn't really highly sought after regardless, he's considered a failure. Then Watson has a price tag that's so steep that it's going to be a waiting game until the Texans feel like someone is going all in

That’s a bargain. Likely will play right tackle. He’s 32 that’s not old even for a tackle. I hate the chefs but they have bounce back nicely.
He'll have been out of football for 18 months. We saw what it took Gronk to get back in football shape. They look desperate.

Wasn't time off what it took Gronk to get back in football shape?

I hope so too. Near 900 yards last year, 8 tds at 18.7 per reception. On paper he had a better season than samuel. But it was a career year

Hopefully that Agholor shows up and not the guy who had bad seasons in Philly. Then again, who knows what our offensive philosophy will be next year. Two pretty good RBs, two pretty good TEs, good line and some new receivers and some
questions at QB.

I get the feeling Agholor’s contract will be much more team friendly than Samuel’s in the end.

These teams in the nfc are getting better. Like what Washington has done. They needed some receiving options. Bucs might have some competition.

Jeff howe said we might still have $30 million in cap space
This is just the first phase of the off-season, and they have addressed many needs with really good players. There are still going to be veteran cuts, the Draft, UDFA, and pre season releases.Plenty of time and available $$$ to finish building a really good roster going into the 2021 season. I love what they have done, they were essentially irrelevant going into free agency and came out of the first couple of days with a much stronger roster.

Ouch, would take Samuel 10/10 times given the contracts. Forgive me if I dont trust this team when it comes to WRs... We'll see

It's not just the cap. This year's draft is considered to be full of quality WR prospects.
I guess - but in the past, teams (especially badly run teams) jump on WRs as they are Madden-sexy.

He looked awfully good on tape, too. Ran routes well, deep ball, went through the middle sometimes. Looks like he’s developed into a good receiver.

After that it took him 5-6 games to get to game shape.
