Linda Holliday Snaps Back At Instagram Comment About Tom Brady

Well, this is one of those "filter out the stupid people" topics. The litmus test in this case is whether you think this has anything to do with how Bill feels.
How Bill feels is rather irrelevant. The story is his fiancé is the one posting this stuff which reflects on him. Bill is probably the most tight lipped person alive and the person closest to him is posting this. That is why it is a big story.

You sound like a little gossip girl. There is no crumbling. The Pats went into 2020 with $30M in dead cap space and 8 player opt-outs. The season played out as predicted, zero surprises. Brady doing great with Bucs all-stars and the Pats rebuilding. All expected. BB's girlfriend saying this is no different than Giselle speaking out of turn. It means nothing.

.
We had so much dead cap due to stupid deals Bill made. Why does Bill get credit for forging through this season with no cap space when he is the one who bungled the cap in the first place? All this "All star" and "everyone knew Brady would do great down there" is complete revisionist history. There were plenty of people that scoffed at him going to a franchise that is a perennial loser. Plenty of people that didn't think he could air it out in that offense. Plenty of people who thought his skills had faded too much to put up good numbers and lead that team to the playoffs. Plenty of people laughed at them paying "broken down" Gronk $9 mill. Plenty of people who said AB would blow up the whole team.

Now it is "Oh yeah everyone knew that the 43 year old QB would come into a new system, with a new coach, all new personnel, no real offseason time, and take a team that hasn't won a playoff game since Super Bowl 37 to the NFC championship game."

Yep. That is why the saltiness is so thick right now.

Be careful some will say that you are not a pats fan ;)

Right or wrong, Gisele took criticism for her comment and so will Linda.

Btw, for those who are avoiding the Tompa Bay Gronkaneers thread you missed one of the best responses to a comment about this subject. One poster suggested that it was sour grapes by linda and @Tony2046 responded with... Sour mellons? I almost fell off my chair.

what a dummy, no TDS?

Yeah agree. That's fine. But to insinuate this means Belichick is stewing at home is ridiculous. Again it's loser gossip mongers with an axe to grind with Belichick when this is a non-story

It was extremely obvious Brady was going to have an excellent statistical season. Evans, Godwin, Gronk, draft Wirf, now AB, still have Howard and Brate. Many including me called this back in August. That Brady would look awesome while the Pats were going into an obvious rebuilding year with 30M dead cap money and 8 opt outs. None of this is a surprise how it played out. It's weird how gleeful some are that Brady looks good and Pats missed the playoffs. This is all expected.

If the BUcs win the Super Bowl and Bill is asked to comment - I don't want to hear Bill ramble on with a stock answer about players on other teams. Your players deserve respect especially the GOAT of all people.

So far today I have seen someone claim that people on here are rooting for the Bucs to kill us next year and now your claim that people are "gleeful" Brady has succeeded while we missed the playoff. Funny that neither claim has been backed up by anyone.

So you're mad at everyone for speculating on Bill's thoughts on Brady but you are claiming you know exactly how he feels?

Folks are not speculating; they're revelling in the drama, all but certain Belichick hates Brady.

It's nonsense.

And no, I do not know what exactly Belichick thinks, but I feel much more confident that he holds Brady in high regard than I do that he hates Brady.

There is no defense of the sensationalistic gossip in this thread.

Of course, it's entirely unsurprising that the most vocal of the anti-Belichick crowd are the ones here revelling in this story with glee, making the huge jump in assuming because Holliday is frustrated, therefore Belichick must hate Brady.

These claims are reinforced every day by the very posters themselves.

No one has said Bill hates Brady. Yet another untruthful statement in this thread. It's amazing how much you call posters out for the exact behavior you exhibit consistently.

Yeah. Gleeful that Brady is doing well. I don't think anyone is gleeful that we missed the playoffs and we had to watch an offense like that.

But it does beg the question of what the conversation regarding Brady is about when Bill and Linda talk

$14M in dead cap simply because Brady left, and more dead cap money for AB and for Gronk. That wasn't poor planning that was taking the medicine of starting the rebuild. AB he was forced to cut.

It's mediots or fans gleeful that their favorite player is sticking it to the Pats . Very silly.

Pot meet Kettle.

How do you know this?

Fair enough. I do not *know* this (meaning, know with certainty. Nor do you, of course). I do think, based on all the evidence available, it's extremely likely that Belichick holds Brady in high regard. I think most other fair and objective observers would feel the same.

Jumping to the conclusion that Belichick hates Brady is also not *known*, flies in the face of the evidence available, and simply reveals one's underlying assumptions/bias.
