Looking at Barbers breakdown of White's INT, seems NO had defense beat with Kamara having a wide open field behind White and no deep safety coverage, but Brees couldn't get ball to him. Rodgers won't make that mistake.

I'll wait for X-O gurus to chime in.

Rodgers looked really good. Green bay looked like a complete team. It's going to be a good game.

The Rams defense didn't get any pressure on Rodgers all night. Their Oline looked elite. But Donald may have not been at 100%.

Tampa's front four needs to get pressure on Rodgers. I think they can. If they can slow him down enough to allow Brady to build a lead they'll win.

Anyway it's definitely going to be a tough game.

We saw 4 guys go with 1 WR on the winston TD. Thats how poorly they can play if schemed. I dont have that big faith in bowles and arians suddenly after this one game.
The mistake was made by only one player though. Carlton Davis. He was in a man coverage with Smith and should never have left him to anticipate a pass to Kamara and try to make a play he had no business doing.

everybody was talking about the fumble as the most important play in the games. I agree it was at that moment but this screw by Davis was another with the drop by Godwin. TB was leading 10-6 at that moment and had all the momentum and NO was doing nothing on O. That screw up changed a lot of thing too. TB could have been up like 17-6 at half time and this game would have been a blowout. That screw up change the dynamic of the game.

it will be important for TB to start fast against GB. TB is 10-0 this season when they lead or in a tie at half time.

GB lost their LT in this game if I remember correctly? That could be huge

Donald played like 54% of snaps there’s no such thing as might of not been 100% dude wasn’t there

Drew brees is no longer drew brees of old. It was obvious he could only throw short passes. It was telling when they brought out winston to throw the deep pass in the trick play.

That shows you don't trust your QB to make that play.

Rodgers won't make those mistakes. He is still elite. I think some posters here are selling him short in this game like he doesn't have a shot. He threw 48tds this year.

I'm not saying that Rodgers isn't a great QB, but most of his games were against the little sisters of the poor. As soft as many fans claim that TB's schedule was, GB's was much softer, worst in the league by a country mile.

Ronde Barber (who belongs in HOF) breaks down some plays, including deep pass to Scotty Miller and White's INT.

I mentioned this in the game thread- I thought that White had turned robber over the flat and this still does appear to be the case because he never looks at anyone else other than reading Brees. They were baiting Brees into trying to beat the quarters coverage which he does by going up the seam. Brees never looks off White and I think it's because he choked.

Much as I hate to, I'll have to tip my hat to Toilet Bowles for this call.

Little Sisters of the Poor had a great roster in 2020
But Miguel has the cap killing them in 2021

Doubt it. Even so, a post like that tells me he gripes to her about the subject privately.
This was my takeaway. Anyone who doesn't think Bill is keeping a close on on Tampa is nuts. His ego is just as big as Brady's.

she's kind of has a point all of Tampa's TDs against the Saints were setup by their defense. They only had to drive 63 yards for the 3 TD. Drives of 3, 20 and 41. Starting from more than 40 yards out from the end zone Bucs drives were

3 & out (7 yard drive)
3 & out (-6 yard drive)
FG (67 yard drive)
Punt (5- play 9 yard drive)
FG (63 yard drive)
Punt (5- play 16 yard drive)
FG (61 yard drive)

So on drives that didn't start from a turnover Bucs had 217 yards and 3 FGs on 7 drives

It is a little bit cause for concern. Not sure you can expect 4 turnovers from the Packers and Rodgers certainly isn't noddled arm like Brees was where he can't push the ball down the field.

This neglects the fact however that 4 turnovers is a lot and you only have so many possessions in a game. They had 9 possessions. And on the 3 field goals, they drove 60+ yards each of those drives.

So they had 3 long drives for FGs, 3 drives after turnovers for TDs, and 3 unsuccessful drives.

It's a success rate of 67% for the offense.

Oh... you’re back? Suddenly Brees is “noodle armed?” You seemed quite confident they were going to pound Tampa Bay. Do you have any more useless statistics without context for us?
