You thought Brady played like a top 5 QB yesterday? I love how you want to trash talk in a game where the Bucs' defense had to bail out the offense that struggled the entire game. If the Bucs didn't turnover the Saints so many times yesterday, Brady would be out of the playoffs.

I stand by my point that Brady is on the decline and is now at the top of the second tier of QBs. Nothing that happened yesterday disproved that.
And I don't get how you rate QB based on how far they go in the playoffs. By your standard, Trent Dilfer was the best QB in 2000 when even at his best during his career, he was a ok game manager. Deshaun Watson was better than Brady this year and he didn't even sniff the playoffs. Why? Because Watson was one of the only good things on the Texans this year. And a once in a lifetime QB like Brady at his prime could carry a team into the playoffs, a top tier QB cannot. Dan Marino was one of the best QBs of all time and his playoff record is abysmal (8-10).

I don't get why you are obsessed with not accepting that Brady has slipped a bit. I never said he has fallen off the map. He has awesome weapons this year. He has two Pro Bowl/All Pro WRs (although Brown isn't the guy he was in Pittsburgh anymore and took some time to get back into playing shape) and a WR who had 1,300 yards in 2019. Brady hasn't had so much talent around him since possibly 2007.
He has slipped sure but when you mention weapons say the same thing about Mahomes with two all pros, Rodgers with Adams and Jones, and Allen with Diggs/Beasley/Brown they all have great weapons too yet Brady only gets punished for that

Our own Patriot players under contract are rooting for Tampa hard because of Tom. I don’t know what’s so difficult rooting for him as “real patriots fans”. SMH

Two games vs two disfuncional offenses yet the defenses from those two teams were the ones who can slow the Bucs down yet they put 30 pts on each one...The remaining defenses left the Packers and Bills/Chiefs although way better offenses, can easily be shredded by the Bucs offense. all about matchups and more often than not a TB12 led team wins
The haters are always moving the goal post. At first, it was can’t win against playoff teams after the WSH, oh they were 7-9 totally ignoring the fact they had the 2nd or 3rd best D in the league. Now it’s dysfunctional offense.

Can’t wait to see the excuses next week if the Bucs win at GB. Too much snow to allow Rodgers to escape the pocket??

They’ll blame it on Covid that’ll be the only thing left

Yup. I don't know how anyone says Mahomes doesn't have a better offense. Hill is better than any WR Brady has, Kelce is the best TE right now and one of the best ever, Watkins is as good or better than any number 2 and EH is in the same ballpark as any RB on the Bucs. Hardman is one of the best number 3's in the league.

Then if you want to talk about Rodgers, he has far and away the best offensive line in the league that it's not even comparable. Adams is as good or better a receiver than anyone on the Bucs and Rodgers has/had two all pro lineman. And as you said, Jones is in the same ballpark of RB as Brady's feature back and the Chiefs.

They all have stacked offenses. Difference here is Brady played one of the best defenses in the NFL last night on the 2nd seed in the NFC so obviously he's not going to put up monster numbers. He made the big plays when he needed to and got the drives he needed to on the road against a great defensive team that quite frankly was the worst matchup possible for them in the playoffs. Brady will not face a better defense the rest of the playoffs.

Two consecutive 55% pass completion games for Tompa

Wins over.....
A 7 win team with a CFL back up in the league for 1 month
and
A completely broken QB with 11 broken ribs and a punctured lung who could only muster 3 yd passes....who had no business playing, especially in the 2nd half but his backup was inactive and the coach didn't have the guts to yank him and try to win the game with Winston

Sure....wins are wins and that's all that matters this time of year

But lets not pretend Brady is playing great and beating All-World teams
By my count, Tampa has gone up against 2 disfunctional offenses
Timing is everything
----------------------------
On another note.......
Given the Saints roster/cap issues next year, the Bucs will walk away with that division
I'll take 2 passing tds( as well as another one dropped by Godwin)and running td for a "bad game" from Brady.

buccaneers defeated arguably their two hardest matchups defensive wise. they should be able to move the ball way easier on the packers and the bills/chiefs assuming they win next week

are brown, evans, godwin all hobbled now?

I keep seeing posts "oooh look bill brady is going to NFC championship, see Bill!" as if the Patriots would be in the AFC championship if they kept brady. with our roster, we likely wouldve been 10-6 or 11-5 and gotten bounced in the wild card round.

This Patriots team was going nowhere this year, and probably next. so I can understand why Brady left.

I never will understand bills insistence on giving brady "year to year" when he had nothing waiting in the wings. worse case scenario he plays like Brees did yesterday. Or like Cam newton did this year.

I will say, dont discount the Packers. they are rolling right now. just because the Bucs beat them earlier in the season doesnt mean anything. Did it mean anything that the saints beat the bucs the past 2 games?

either way it will be an amazing game.

The fact that the Pats had no backup QB clearly shows that Bill thought that Brady was coming back. Apparently, Bill figured that Brady didn't want to leave and he could lowball him for another year.

I think we all knew that the Pats might struggle this year, with or without Brady, but it still hurts a lot to see Brady playing in another uniform. Something should have been done to keep the GOAT QB here.

Real rich seeing patriot fans bash brady's performance or if he looked like a top 5 qb yesterday or not after the season we just endured with cam.

Brady can be the 32 ranked qb, who cares. Hes 1 win from the Superbowl.

Act like brady was all that good in that Superbowl against the rams when he wasn't but I don't see you discrediting they Superbowl win.

It takes a special kind of person to **** talk brady abilities as a patriot fan.

Brady 5-2 in the early-game on Championship Sunday The 2 losses were in Denver.

I hope Bill is watching and seeing that you win in this league with NFL talent, not with your own pet projects like Nkeal Harry.

Brady sucks. Sure he won but he has weapons and beat a team with a 42 year old quarterback. Sheesh

There is a reason why the Saints are a historic 90+ million over the cap. That defense is loaded with multiple probowlers on the DL, Davis at LB & not one weakness at any of the 5 DB spots. They are a bad matchup for the Bucs.

The Packers have 1 quality CB & a fraction of the pass rush of the Saints & football team. The Bucs also rushed for 125+ rushing yards on two elite run defense. The Packers don’t have the talent to contain the Bucs offense IMO. I’m liking Tom’s chances at another SB appearance as long as the Bucs play man again.
