Bill seems to be loyal to his guys. How often have we seen him make a questionable hiring/promotion with a guy that he already worked with or who was already in the organizaion rather then looking outside the team? Or listen to his buddies when drafting rather than his own scouts?

Are you not from the US? In places like Europe, for example, there is far less religiosity. But in America, the overwhelming majority of people are Christian. I live in a very small town of about 15,000 people. There has to be at least a dozen churches here. And even more in the surrounding towns, all with much smaller populations. It feels like there is one on every street.
Or he's human and made a mistake. Why does it have to be a black and white situation? Humans are far more complex and nuanced than widower hooks up with a gold digger soon after losing his wife so he must be a scumbag. Not really how it works. My village was very catholic when I was younger. But, nowadays, there is little attendance under 60 years of age. I’d say we are more and more similar to countries like the Netherlands and Northern Europe.
