Nothing that happened in the regular season matters anymore. These are the playoffs. Sit back, watch, and enjoy.

Cheers.

Last night confirmed that Tampa’s post-bye transformation on offense was not just due to weak opponents. Fast tempo, lots of different receiver-tight end combinations, quick passing game. Brady didn’t throw a single pass that had a chance to be intercepted.

I knew they’d get annihilated by the Saints in that mid-season game because their offense looked so confused and unable to handle a good pass rush.

I’m not sure their defense getting curbed stomped by the Saints was a fluke though. At the same time, NFL defenses are generally a muddled group of mediocre units subject to the offense they’re facing.

I‘ll be rooting for the Bears, obviously, but I think the Bucs have a decent shot against the Saints after last night.

You can win big games with Belichick + an above average QB like JG.

I firmly believe that.
He has not proven that despite having multiple first overall picks at QB throughout his HC career.

You’re a braver man than me for doing the search for their picture!
I actually searched “two fat guys on a couch,” and that pic was too goo to pass up.

You have to give some credit to Heinicke too. He made some plays with his legs escaping drive ending sacks and turning them into huge plays. Brees can’t do that. And while the coverage had plenty of busts, Heinicke also had some big time plus throws into tight windows.

Devon White is back next week. Harder to escape sacks when he is blitzing. I think the bigger information from last night is that offensive improvement is real and Tompa can light up any defense in the league. They were some uncharacteristic Godwin drops away from nearly hanging 40 on a top 3 D.

I don’t think the Fappers want to play them. I don’t care where the game is at. That is just not a good match-up for them. They don’t have a prayer of stopping that offense unless some horrible conditions come into play. Even then, Fournette averaged 4.7 per carry against a much better defense.

When Brady and the Bucs incinerate the lowly Patriots next season, he’ll have beaten all 32 NFL teams. Joining Favre and Manning as the only QBs to do that.

I really hate the Bucs CB's. However, they are everything Billy looks for in a CB when drafting them: Tall, slow and stiff.

I think Brees also did it.

Don’t be so quick to assume that. Let’s see what the offseason has in store for us. Caserio is (thankfully) gone and we have a lot of cap space to work with. If Bill the GM pulls his head out of his ass, we could easily be a player in the AFC again. Also, don’t discount Bill knowing how to defense Brady.

Case is closed: If Brady had competent WR's, they score at least 2 more points than the Titans in last years Wild Card.

Yeah well that would be a great start. I’m not too optimistic looking at our roster.

Imagine if they drafted Brown and Metcalf instead of Harry and Williams. Not only would we have clamped down on the Tits, but we’re likely playing KC in the AFCCG and Brady is probably still here.

I'll take it a step further as I forgot to do this. They aren't even playing the Titans in the Wild Card if Brady had competent WR's. They easily lock up the #2 seed.

Losing out on both Brown and Metcalf is painful. But then throwing in Hardman and McCaurlin is just insult to injury.

Multiple first overall picks at QB????

Huh?

Who are you referring to?

I only know of one, Drew Bledsoe, and Bledsoe took us to a Super Bowl with a defense that was basically Belichick's (recall how bad that defense was before BB came on board).

Also recall that with Bledsoe at the helm we won the 2001 AFC CG against the Steelers.

Isn't this proof that we can win big games with QBs like Bledsoe (or worse than Bledsoe)?

What other #1s are you referring to (and please don't say Testaverde)?

Thanks, man.

or Brady would have thrown a fit about them because they ran the wrong routes and not looked their way again like he did to Meyers last year and still left.
