My argument is that Swann rode his post season success and being on the Steelers to obtain many of those personal accolades. He had 336 catches in his entire career. Never had a 1,000 yard season and never led the league in anything. The fact he was 1st team all 70's WR with 240 regular season catches in that decade for under 4,000 yards says it all to me. Stanley Morgan started a few years after Swann but ended up with 5,000 more career yards than Swann plus more TDs and Pro Bowls yet is nowhere near the HOF. Edelman will not make the HOF nor should he but his impact in the postseason was every bit as important as Swann's was.
