The Official New Years 6 Bowl/CFP Thread.

I've seen enough of the Alabama wideouts.....very impressed!!! They all look very fast.
And that’s without their WR1, Waddle, who went out for the season against Tennessee. Waddle is actually better than Smith, believe it or not.

How does Bama not consistently get great QB prospects? They always have one if not two first round receivers and multiple NFL running backs.
They just recruited the #1 prospect in the nation. He’s sitting behind Jones for now, but will be their starter next season.

What do you think about Mac? Legit? Hoping Saban doesn’t dupe BB into taking him if he’s just a product of playing with great players.

I have a late 2nd/early 3rd round grade on him. If we’re going with a pure pocket passer, I’d rather have Trask.

Waddle will fly under the radar until he runs a 4.3 forty at the combine. Then he goes in the first round.

Book choke job continues- missed his wide open TE.

Getting into 3rd down and long situations is anathema to ND.

I am hoping waddle falls to us in the first round. I really can not see chase or smith getting out of the top 10.

in the second round, we need to jump all over dt Davis of Georgia,

in the third round with our Brady comp pick, we take qb ridder and let him spend a year on the bench developing.

Hmm had a rough game the other night didn’t he? Lance seems interesting, weak competition tho.

Without knowing prospects, all things being equal, I'd lean toward taking either a qb or d-line with our first pick As impressive as these wideouts look, I'd rather a veteran wr(let's say Julio Jones) and address the other positions of need in the draft...If the. wideouts are better value, than I can understand taking one...he would need to be a step up from Harry though.

Ball was tipped.

This Devante Smith from Alabama is quite impressive, I read that he is under 180lbs though....wonder if that will hurt his draft stock.

I'm unable to detect calf muscles on the kid

I always worry about this due to injuries and getting bullied at the LOS but he’s a really good route runner. I have more confidence in him than say Marquise brown.

With Jags getting the #1 pick, I think tonight and the championship is the last time we see Trevor Lawrence in a college uniform.

I like the M. Brown comparison...similar body types and they both seem like they can fly.

Horrendous game management by Cincy in the earlier game.

Let's see if ND has adjusted to Alabama's screen game.

Smith really went upstairs to grab that one.

Having said that : one could imagine how fun it’d be to have Smith in NE... competitor, routes, production...

that is so true! the bleacher report has a picture of him running and his legs look like toothpicks,

When you see him without shoulder pads, you wonder how he can go a full season without suffering from a separated shoulder!
