i think the jets did a mistake tbh by probably as it is right now passing up on t-lawWatching the Jags and Jets next year should put a fork in the “to tank or not to tank” argument. With the WRs Jax has, Lawrence should immediately turn that offense around. They’re also going to be an attractive landing spot for HC and GM candidates.
Sources: Jacksonville Jaguars, with potential to draft Trevor Lawrence, become attractive destination for GM, head coach candidates
GM and potential head-coaching candidates are paying close attention to the Jaguars, who are getting closer to securing the No. 1 overall draft pick and the opportunity to select Trevor Lawrence.www.espn.com
But at least the Jete didn’t embrace a “culture of losing.” So they should be better off for it... amirite? Or does that argument no longer have any merit when it’s applied to a team we all hate?
Both teams will be bad next year. And probably for the foreseeable future. Cleveland is bad. Bad teams love losing.Watching the Jags and Jets next year should put a fork in the “to tank or not to tank” argument. With the WRs Jax has, Lawrence should immediately turn that offense around. No way, man. Tanking creates a culture of losing. The Jets did the right thing. I’m sure either Darnold or Fields will take them to the promised land. The Jags ****ed up big time by losing on purpose. They’ve created a culture centered around losing. And it will surely affect Lawrence and what will be a brand new football team next season.i think the jets did a mistake tbh by probably as it is right now passing up on t-law
Depending on how they use their resources on the defensive side of the ball, the Jaguars could immediately contend for the division next year. I see this team every week. They’re not nearly as bad as their record and will now have a quarterback to go with all of those wideouts. Both teams will be bad next year. And probably for the foreseeable future. Cleveland is bad. And the Pats were forced to fly to KC with no starting QB and a day lead time and the league refused their requests for more space out of the visitors locker room.Fcking Chefs. Table is set for them. Loud fans, no serious injuries, little competition in the division... If I have to root for the Bills then so be it.
Seriously the Pats get screwed over supposed flat footballs but the league allows the Chefs to have 20k fans when other teams have none?!
If this isn't a giant "*" season I don't know what is.
I mean, I believe you (that you’ve watched every game and they are better than their record). But, to win the division, they’d need to leapfrog two double digit winners and the perennial (lately) division champ - who has an established qB.Depending on how they use their resources on the defensive side of the ball, the Jaguars could immediately contend for the division next year. is it really that an effect to the culture if you loose 14 or 15 games when you are already 0-12. When i am anyway 0-12 i wouldn't want as an gm to get to 2-14 just to pass up on t-law and get fields or wilson who are a lot behind. I don't have much faith in darnold tbh to ship that franchise around into a winning culture. The loosing culture is there not just because of this season they are used to it since the last years i feel like.No way, man. Tanking creates a culture of losing. The Jets did the right thing. What don’t they track these days?..Wow they track that too? Useless stat IMO, KC has lucked out alot though.
You mean the one who just choked an important game away today and hasn’t done anything in the postseason since 2014? How old is Rivers again?I mean, I believe you (that you’ve watched every game and they are better than their record). I was being sarcastic.is it really that an effect to the culture if you loose 14 or 15 games when you are already 0-12. I was referring to Watson. Texans have been top of that division in recent years. You mean the one who just choked an important game away today and hasn’t done anything in the postseason since 2014? How old is Rivers again?
ohh sorry kontra i did not realice that..not easy sometimes to understand that when you have to translate firstI was being sarcastic.
