I'm not impressed Brady can have a big day throwing to Hall of Fame targets

And of the 6 rings, how many came with a Top 10 scoring defense?

Brady had 1 TD the entire postseason run when NE won first ring. Because Brady always had strong rosters.
I really don'tthink you understand football. What do you mean by "strong rosters?" Tell me which QBs win without strong rosters? Not just in SB years, but throughout most of his career, Brady was throwing to second tier WRs.

There was no reason to not extend Brady. None. Some day hopefully there is a book so we can try to understand if possible how Bill let the GOAT go after he had just won his sixth ring.

The worst part is Bill did this with no succession plan or guy behind him.

Had Bill done this in 2017 when we still had Jimmy G I would sort of understand it. But once we jettisoned Garoppolo it should've been all in on Brady. Instead Bill acted business as usual and now we have no plan

The last Super Bowl win, Brady had to muster up only just more than 3 points, big deal

And first ring he had 1 TD entire postseason run ..

So at least 2 of Brady's rings mean squat
And yet, the game winning drive in the first SB was all Brady. You really need to watch some games. Throughout his career Brady unlike a Manning was always willing to hand off the ball inside the 5 yard line and take the seven regardless of padding his stats.

I don't actually believe Stafford > Brady but there's a lot to be said for the franchise players get drafted to.

Kraft is maybe the best owner in sports .. Brady has had elite ownership, great Head Coach, many great rosters ..

I think Brady is great. Not the greatest of all-time.
So far Kraft is a great owner because 1) he saved the Pats from going to St. Louis and 2) he was lucky enough to draft Brady.

I guess the playoffs will be fun in the NFC....I'm not sure who I'm picking yet...I think a lot of people are sleeping on the Packers....should be fun....I expect most people will pick KC in the AFC...just too talented.
The same reasons being used here to minimize Brady's accomplishments apply to the Packers more. The Packers have played the softest schedule in the league by far. Their opponents' combined record is 80-115-1. They only played 3 playoff teams and lost 2, beating NO by 7 in week 3, getting trounced by TB in week 6 and losing a close one to Indy in week 11. Their Titans game this week should give us a better indication of where they are. I like Seattle in the NFC.

Great information, I didn't know that about the Packers schedule. The reason I brought them up is if they have home field advantage, the warm weather teams and dome teams are going to have to go there in the middle of January and beat them....going to be a tough task....I agree with you about this weeks game against the Titans.

Brady should have finished his career here. Period. If he was let go over money that's even worse. Kraft and Belichick made a small fortune off of Brady's play. I also can't stomach the idea that so many Pats fans turned on Brady so soon after he left. He earned more loyalty than that from everyone.
It's not all Bill's fault. Kraft stepped in to keeping Brady over JG the first time. The 2nd time he was too busy at the massage parlor to bother.

Not a Peyton fan but Peyton is a better player than Brady .. I mean, Matt Stafford is better than Brady .. why did NE start winning right as the U.S. Patriot Act went in effect?
And there’s the rub.... anyone who says “not a Peyton fan but Peyton is better than Brady” IS a Peyton fan.

Me thinks TFB was a little miffed at not making the pro bowl
He works wonders whenever he feels he got snubbed.

Case in point, look at his 3 MVP seasons with no rings at the end of each of those seasons.

Mr Newton is here to do nothing but antagonize people. He's not adding anything of value to the forum
He’s giving the township of Newton, Massachusetts, a bad name. Lot of great folk in those neighborhoods.

Stafford is good but in no way shape or form is he better than Brady.

And it’s interesting that people talk about Brady benefiting from having a good defense over the years but talk up Manning. The defense of the Colts and Broncos respectively are what got Manning his only two Super Bowl rings.
Staffor might be in a Pat next year

Rodgers is having one of his best seasons but I think the NFC is more wide open. I'm not sure who has the tie-breaker between GB, NO and Seattle.

I see the guy that undeservingly got the prowbowl over Brady is playing clutch fb for the comeback. Not.

Oh I can just see Brady and TB getting motivated with the pro bowl snub. Only 1 guy got it and they should have had about 5.
