There was no reason to not extend Brady. None. Some day hopefully there is a book so we can try to understand if possible how Bill let the GOAT go after he had just won his sixth ring.

Is it crazy to start to think the Bucs might not just go all the way to the Super Bowl but actually win it? I thought earlier in the season no way. I know what the Saints did to them.

But the way they’re just toying with this team now after a statement comeback win against a division rival, which itself was after a decisive win over a Vikings team chasing them in the standings... championship teams start to peak when it matters.

Brady should have finished his career here. Period. If he was let go over money that's even worse. Kraft and Belichick made a small fortune off of Brady's play. Being on the same page as his receivers allows him to get rid of the ball quicker which gives pass rushers less time to get to him.

Additionally, being on the same page as his Oline allows him more time in the pocket. Pocket awareness. Etc...

Yes Detroit sucks but Brady has been getting rid of the ball quicker over the last few weeks.
