Favre picked the worse day to have a Favre game...
That was an excruciating loss, and on Troy Brown's retirement day to boot. To top it off I caught a cold and became sick as a dog.

If it was really a Favre day he would have thrown a pick to lose the game, like he did the year before in the NFC title game with the Giants. That one probably cost us the 19-0 season. No way he beats our 2007 team.

It's been sad to see fans looking for help from other teams each week, hoping the Pats will win out. As it turns out, looking at the records of the teams ahead of us, if the team had just an adequate QB things would have been different. They have a better team than many fans thought they would.

Denver and Houston are the games that kept us out. One was a no show on offense, one was a no show on d. 8-5 without those brutal efforts
Both were USELESS performances by Cam. And I can't believe people even suggest he should be back, or that Stid wouldn't have moved the ball better in those games. It's complete and utter self-delusion. (which is being programmed throughout society right now, so I'm not surprised.)

Stid probably would have moved the ball better... in the form of a defensive player on his way to the end zone after catching a Stid pass.

Why? This is not a playoff team.

What is the point backing into the post season?

I guess so we can watch something like last Thursday's game, except against a different opponent and in January.

So we can see 1 more game of Cam.

His new contract depends on it.

Because I was the kid that always stayed to the end of the game regardless of the score, because I always wanted to see my team play the whole game. I always enjoyed the fact that there was football team in New England and that wasn't always the case. Not to mention that they almost left us at one point. So when there is a chance to make the playoffs and have another game, why wouldn't I want to clamor for it?

Cam is in audition mode for the rest of the season. Most likely 3 games or however long it lasts.

He's not going to get a payday (at least certainly not by us). Has a lot to prove if he wants a job in the NFL after this year.

The only reason why the Pats are safe from last place in the AFCE is because the Jets are purposely losing to get Lawrence.

This team was dominated last night on national TV.
I think they purposely didn’t fire Gase, but the coaches and players are trying to win.

Starter job, but he’ll certainly get a job.

It’s over but luckily this season doesn’t really count.
It does for whichever team will drop a banner in September...

Now if you want a 2020 season that truly doesn't count, then look no further than MLB...

Belichick vs another rookie, the bills at home and yets...i like my chances.

Belichick vs. anyone is always a plus, it doesn't always work out but it sure is a nice piece to the puzzle. We will miss him when he is gone.

TBH, I liked the shorter season for MLB. It made each game/series more important and I would have been way more engaged than usual if the Sox had shown any spark at all.

Favre cost us the playoffs in 2002 too losing to the jets.

in all the scenarios the two things which are difficult are (assuming browns win tonite)
Ravens losing to the giants at home and
pats winning all 3

pats winning all 3 is the harder part.

Not so sure about the bills, they are better than they were last time, and we are worse offensively. Will be a really tough one , we would have to play much better offensively than we have the past 3 weeks.
