Cares about no one but TB12. Not a top draft pick? Get a girl pregnant? Exit stage left. Protégé drafted? Hold your breath until he is traded.

Don't forget, locking Jimmy G out of the TB12 facility so he can't rehab...

No doubt. Why do you think we moved to Florida? Worcester is a dump. I avoid it like the plague whenever we go up and visit. I have family that lives in Newburyport. That’s a nice area. Makes Worcester look like a third world country in comparison.
That is a bit harsh. Worcester is not as nice as Newburyport, but there are some nice spots in Worcester. Youse guys just don't appreciate the finer points.

And Worcestershire Sauce is from Worcester, England (the shire in the name kind of gives it away). Many cities and towns in New England adopted their names from the King's country, hence the region's name, New England.

My niece goes to school there, some nice parts and they are trying to make it better I guess

I live in Jax Beach now. Jacksonville as a whole is, uh, not good. But visit Jax Beach sometime and you’ll see why I’m not too keen on Worcester. As for the second paragraph, consider the source.

Next you will say fig Newton’s are from Newton mass

I’ve stayed downtown Jax. Seemed all right to me. Nothing really memorable there though. Except best bet where I won a bit of $.

It’s probably even worse since you’ve been there. They have big plans, though. Khan has the city giving him an interest-free $96.5M loan. They’re building a Four Seasons, bar and restaurant scene, shopping, and expanding Lot J. The city calculated an ROI of $0.40 for every dollar spent. Terrible. Plus I would doubt Khan and the developers will actually pay that loan back since all they have to do is say “London” and the city will bend over backwards for them.

So now blue collar people are bad too? This thread has it all.

You do when you live in Florida. Nobody down here knows where the hell Worcester is. But you’re right. I’m probably lying about that over the Internet for clout. That’s the ticket.

Actually a lot of people down south refer to Massachusetts as Boston. Not sure why that is but I use to tease my buddies down in Georgia about it every time they referred to me as being someone from Boston. "Actually I'm from Massachusetts and am now living in the great state of Atlanta".

That’s what happens when you phase out Geography in the public school curriculums down here, lol.

New idea for the thread - let’s turn it into a genealogy thread. In order to stay, your genetic lineage and history must be traced back to the region. Kind of like being made in the mob. Additionally, I think we should all post our social security numbers and give samples of blood and semen. We can’t be taking any chances here. Rooting for this team is serious business.

Ewww. I’m from a blue collar family. What’s wrong with that?
Absolutely nothing. I’d suspect the majority of us came from blue collar families and I’d also assume most of us graduated from college which those blue collar families helped us afford to make an even better life for ourselves than those who came before us. But when you brag online to complete strangers about being “upper crust,” I guess that’s a put down.

Anyway, we should get back to the topic at hand - God’s team (the Tampa Bay Buccaneers), the GOAT and future HOF QB Tom Brady, and genealogy.

I come from viking blood. Don't let the dad bod fool you.

The Nazis would have considered you genetically superior to them, but socially inferior. Fun fact of the day.

Whenever I tell people here in Florida that I moved down here from Massachusetts, they mentally replace "Massachusetts" with "Boston" as if they are the same, somehow. I lived in Northborough, though. Worcester seemed pretty nice! On the whole, better than Marlborough, at least!

I don't miss navigating the ski slope driveway after the umpteenth snowfall of the season. Or putting up Christmas decorations by staging them in the garage and dashing out for 15 minutes at a time to freeze my arse off.

Your average Floridan isn't all that bright.
