most are simply pointing out BB was some great genius till Brady came along. On the opposite side we have absolute clowns saying this proves something when Brady is ****ing 43

So you basically proved my point. By your logic:

Insulting tom brady - horrible example of sports fans proof no one wants to go to Boston! We must still worship brady

Insulting bill - just truth, he sucks it was all brady.

I think it's mostly on the coaching. Brady this year is a lot better than last year

Bruschi said it best. They don't make adjustments on offense or defense. They call so many option routes while brady gets smashed behind the suspect OL.

But, Brady chose this. He wanted a "fun coach".

The Bucs second half adjustments were really good yesterday. Held Mahomes to just 10 points unfortunately having Hill with single coverage was just plain dumb giving him a career day. Liked the way Bucs offense looked in the second half with Gronk getting them going in the second quarter. Too bad the D could not get a stop with 4 minutes to go but Mahomes is pretty darn good right now.

Brady is a lot better which is awesome to see. I don't think Brady has an issue with the offense as when it is clicking it is pretty unstoppable. We will see how they adjust things coming out of the bye.

Haven't you noticed that the Bucs only seem to "click" when they play crappy teams, for the most part? There's a reason why they look so "unstoppable" at times...

Basically they were effective when they started implement NE stuff in there. With the short and intermediate passes and play action. They need to play action a lot. Yesterday Brady was 4/5 with 83 yards and a TD on play action

Because the Pats are such a tight-lipped organization, everything we believe is merely a supposition.
Bingo
It's all supposition
Our educated guesses are mostly supported by gossip and agenda
------------------------------------------------------
We are a species eager to be manipulated

And as mindless media consumers, we are eager to be fed narratives by willing accomplices to parties who have self-serving agendas.

Locally.....
Tom Curran among others delivers the Brady camp narratives
The Krafts have Reiss on their speed dial
Bill has his go-to-guys

When Patriots "news of a personal nature" does emerge from the bowels of Gillette or the bell towers of certain Brookline mansions, more often than not an agenda has been set in motion.

Brady's team of media consultants and enablers had been laying the foundation for Brady's dissatisfaction and subsequent departure for several years. Subtle hints carefully packaged and positioned in various media outlets.

The neatly crafted narratives: The Wife's Happiness, Family Time, Respect, The Contract, Weapons, TB12, etc, etc, etc

The media accomplices:
Gisele==> US Magazine, etc.
Don Yee==> Tom Curran, etc, etc
Brady==>Jim Gray, Howard Stern, Oprah, Tom vs Time self documentary, Facebook, etc, etc, etc

Crafting narratives that suit an agenda is standard operating procedure for the rich, the famous, and entities that value public opinion
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Then consider the case of Malcolm Butler
No party involved wanted the public to know details regarding Butler's Super Bowl benching.
Result: Universal silence
All parties put a lid on it
No agenda activated

Two examples of an unsettled Patriots sphere.....one with a crafted narrative designed to steer sentiment, the other.....radio silence

Yes because against bad teams you can win just on talent but against good teams you can’t.

the deep ball isn’t helping, it is not a high play to begin with. When you run on first down get 2-3 yards. Take a shot on 2 second down INC and you are 3rd and long a lot. It is though.

they need to stop taking shot constantly and be more methodical. They are always behind big against the good teams. You can’t have that.

In the first quarter:

Down 10-0 against Green Bay
Down 14-0 against NO
Down 17-0 agaisnt KC

Brady has to cut the mistakes but how many of his interceptions came on 20+ passes vs 0-20 yards? Against the Rams, Brady was the reason they loss but I don’t think he was yesterday. the TB offense still put 417 yards of offense in 23 minutes agaisnt the 542 of KC in 37 minutes

I meant have a bye, not playing on wild card weekend, sorry should have made that clear. Although now, only one team any way gets a bye !

The fact that he hasn't made it without a bye is less relevant when the instances have been so few. It's 4 times. And really, they should have been SB champs had the 2006 AFCCG been called with even a smidge of objectivity. In the last 20 years, that game more than any other the Patriots have played, regular season or playoffs, was absolutely stolen. A win over the Bears in the SB would have been a foregone conclusion.

They got the run game going too. For the love of Pete, I wish they would come up with some more creative run plays than the HB dive every single time.

Does anyone notice the bucs tendency to complicate things on third and short ? Taking a deep shot, when simply running would suffice.
Their play calling/personnel usage is just mind boggling. They have a RB who is clearly superior to their other backs but they seem to keep trying to get Fournette out there. Scotty Miller seems to run only fly routes and AB, who seems to have the best chemistry with Brady, comes off the field quite a bit. They need to run the ball with Jones and get the ball to AB on third and short.

Yes but they only threw on play action 5 times. That is not nearly enough in my opinion. Mahomes threw on play action 17 times yesterday for example

BTW, Brady is now up 4 for the TD record. Brees is out out again next week as he is on IR. He is eligible to come back after that but I wonder if Payton continues to play Hill given how good the offense has been under him so far. Payton is now 7-0 without Brees since last season. Very impressive and seems to indicate that he knows more of what to do with his team without his super star QB than Bill at this point.

I am critic of Bill sometime but that it is just not true. Payton is doing the same thing Bill was doing when Brady was injured or suspended. Even if you remove Brees from the Saints this team has a lot of talent which is not the case of the patriots. I think you are a little disingenuous on this case

For all of you who are throwing Arians/Leftwich under a bus, it seems as if Brady is the one picking all the Bucs' plays...this is what he wanted. He wanted to go somewhere where he would have more input into the offense and he got it. Except it's not working out...

This is arians's words. I dont see that in the game where they chuck the ball downfield repeatedly on 3rd snd short or he has to look at his band what play was called on 4th and inches instead of a sneak. He may have had some input of things he likes and wanted put in a playbook sure. Doesnt mean they are getting called in the game.

There was a sequence there with Brady and Gronk where i almost saw new england jerseys.

you see tom looking at his wrist band to find the play instead of even running his patented sneak.

What bradys doing this year won’t do anything to his legacy. You said it, he’s 43. What 43 year old in NFL history was still an elite Qb?This is probably what Bill was thinking not wanting to commit multiple years.

The Bucs are still missing that true 3rd down back (white, Faulk). If they had that player we’d be seeing a higher rate of moving the chains on those 3rd and shorts/mediums.
