This could make up for Goody & the 32's theft of Brady's record when they stole four games away from him (and probably 10+ TDs) in 2016 on phony charges and courtroom lies.Brady will increase the lead on all time TDs
Isn't that what happened to Bledsoe in 2001?Does anyone here know if it's possible to have a lung collapse and then not-collapse?
Sort of. That was the infamous Michael Felger question about the Drew Bledsoe lung collapse in 2001.Isn't that what happened to Bledsoe in 2001?
Most of AB's problems came while he was with the Steelers, yet hardly a word came from the mediots about him until he ended up with Brady. Something's fishy about that.Technically he never did anything wrong as a member of the patriots either
You're forgetting Brady has played in 295 regular-season games and Brees only 284This could make up for Goody & the 32's theft of Brady's record when they stole four games away from him (and probably 10+ TDs) in 2016 on phony charges and courtroom lies.
I didn't recognize the connection, but then I didn't/don't listen to Felger.Sort of. That was the infamous Michael Felger question about the Drew Bledsoe lung collapse in 2001.

Meh, I'd say playing in an Arena League stadium for 70% of your games and not seeing heavy rain, wind, or snow for years on end might be a tad bit more of an advantage than 11 games.
You're probably right, but in the NFL record book it doesn't matter
Right, but neither does Games Played matter in the record book.
Let's face it, nobody will care about the record once Brady owns it permanently. It was important when Brees broke it, and would be important if that inbred from Indy had it. I just want Brady to take this record from Brees because I am a bitter, petulant sh!t when it comes to the rest of the NFL.
Was this the record that they stopped the game to celebrate, or was it the passing yards? Or both? Either way, I will get joy having Brady take these meaningless records too. Not because they enhance Brady's status, but because it takes away the only thing the other guy has.
What a miserable attitude I have, but f it. Makes me smile.
It was yards the first time, and I believe they did it again after he broke manning's TD record. I would love to see Brady end up with it because he's a personal hero to me, and did magical things for this franchise. I don't really care if he's wearing the laundry anymore or not.Right, but neither does Games Played matter in the record book.

He has a broadcasting deal in the works. Payton also let it slip back in the spring that this was Brees' final season then tried to walk it back.I don't know who will end up owning this record - Brees is only 41 and has a year left on his contract. He is playing very well this season (18 TDs, 3 ints), so I don't see why he wouldn't come back next year. If the Saints were to cut him after this season or he would retire, it would mean a $25 million cap hit, which makes it more likely he'll be back in 2021. As for me, I don't really care anymore about Brady's latest accomplishments since he's not on the Pats and he won't break the TD record while on this team.

Most Saints fans believe this is his final year.
If Winston plays anywhere close to what Teddy did last year and the Saints go 3-1 or 4-0 Payton can sign him to be the perfect bridge Qb as they look for their next guy in the draft. Many Saints fans were irked that Payton let Teddy get away.
Doubt he does that again with Winston.

Also NE usually played with a lead which meant more ball control through more runs, less pass, and more rushing TDs. For NO they had an average to bad defense for almost 10 years. Thus, Brees was constantly slinging the ball in shootout games or garbage time comeback attempts.Meh, I'd say playing in an Arena League stadium for 70% of your games and not seeing heavy rain, wind, or snow for years on end might be a tad bit more of an advantage than 11 games.

With the rule changes favoring offences, all these regular season passing records will be broken in no time. The only records that will stand the test of time for Brady are the ones that count, playoff records.I don't know who will end up owning this record - Brees is only 41 and has a year left on his contract.
