Comparing TB’s current season to a good old fashioned Patriots super bowl run is interesting.

This far, I haven’t seen anything dominant about them. But there’s still time based on history. If they’re not dominant in their last 4-5 games, they’ll likely not go far in the playoffs.

Bucs will have a better record in 2020 compared to us, but I think that switches in 2021. There is potential in our unit. We aren't winning the SB this season but you can see a team that imo is one year away from being a 10-11 win team. 12 if we find a good QB.

I thought the NFC looked pretty wide open a couple weeks ago. Looks more and more open by the week.

There are so many good teams in the NFC it's crazy. And every week one of those teams either looks like a worldbeater or shows their cracks

We'll see if the Bucs have made the adjusments next week. Rams are what they have struggled with this year. Good DL with someone that can wreck a game. And he's probably the best one they'll see all year.

That’s the thing - their secondary isn’t weak at all. It’s actually pretty damn strong. But you have a DC having them play off zone when their personnel begs for press man so it looks weak. I’m sure Bill watches their games and asks out loud “what the hell are you doing, Bowles?” FFS, they had their corners playing 10 yards off the Saints’ WRs when Brees is absolutely no threat to throw deep anymore. They pretty much gave him what he wanted.
I'm not entirely disagreeing with you, as the scheme is highly questionable. But all of the corners after Carlton Davis are highly suspect in man. I've seen time and again where they bite on double moves and even play action. They consistently get caught peeking in the backfield in man, though that could be residual from playing so much zone. I don't know... maybe your point is absolutely correct, but I feel I've seen something different.

I am interested in seeing their game plan vs the Rams. This game may be tougher than KC just because the Rams can really play defense.
Still, it was a great bounce back win yesterday that hopefully they can build off of on both sides of the ball.

Also, Brees hurt his ribs yesterday and may miss time. That could open the door for the division and potentially one of the top seeds.

Maybe a chance for them to make up some ground on the Saints.

I agree. Brees said he has a culmination of injuries so it is his ribs and shoulder. If he misses a few games then the Bucs can make it up. The tough thing is the Bucs have their 2 toughest games up next with the Rams and Chiefs. Both are at home at least which is good news. Hopefully they at least split and then would need to win out vs Atlanta (twice), Minny, Detroit. That probably gives them the best chance assuming the Saints drop a couple with Brees out of action. They also have to play the Chiefs later in Dec.

Need to win both those games. Bucs need to show you more against great teams.

I can't see the Saints lose their next 4 games even without Brees - Falcons, Broncos, Falcons, and Eagles...really Brees doesn't need to be back for them until the Chiefs game in December.

Really? The falcons are still a decent team. Maybe lose one.

Maybe...but the Bucs are going to have to beat LA Rams, Chiefs, Vikings, and Falcons during this same stretch. I'd rather be the Saints, even without Brees, for the next four weeks than the Bucs. However, the Bucs have a slightly easier schedule during the last 4 weeks of the season than the Saints do...it may ultimately be a wash.

I would assume this is worst case scenario.

Does anyone here know if it's possible to have a lung collapse and then not-collapse?
