What would help speed up the rebuild is Bill just picking the best player available at the draft slot instead of trading around and picking another stiff who can't play.

He’s 50/50 on hitting an open receiver, what’s the point of getting him actual weapons? Also bad at finding an open man, many replays on tv of him throwing into coverage when someone was clearly open elsewhere.

Give him one more elite weapon, TE or WR, and this offense changes. Cam has given all that we could have asked for. Love the guy.

It's amazing that a lot of the Boston media get paid to act like this:

No wonder most of the fan base are the way they are....

Jesus, that's messed up. I'd rather see more harris too, but that's one hell of a poor reaction.

I am thrilled to have Cam on this team. He's the best post Brady QB we could have asked for. Get him a couple of weapons and add a bulldozing NT and the Pats are back on top of the AFCE .

Cam is a competitor and a winner. Keep him.

Let's go.
I’m also okay with keeping Cam for next year. If he’s cheap, which I can’t see why he wouldn’t be. Give him another year in the system, a full off-season to get himself right again...probably the best chance for next year we have aside from getting Jimmy Gesus if the 49ers move on. Snag a rookie qb or two. One with high upside, another that’s a sleeper type pick. See if you can move Stidham for something, because they clearly hate his existence.

I disagree. Give him one more elite weapon and and he will light it up.
Hard to say. His two best performances came against a historically bad passing defense and the #1 pick that's giving teams wins. Serviceable, definitely. Not sure he's lighting up any decent defense.

Glad to get a win but I wish the defense didn't look so concerning. I'm not sure how much Guy is hurt but if he's not back and effective next week Baltimore will destroy us because our front 7 is complete garbage without him in there. We have alot of work to do on that side of the ball, this was the freaking Jets and we barely pulled it out. Where was Uche this week? I saw Wino make some plays when they let him in. JoeJuan played well early in the year and I haven't seen him since. Just friggin let these guys play.

Offensively we're back to how we looked the first 3 weeks. Perhaps COVID is a valid excuse for Cam, he has looked pretty decent in all but the 2 games post covid / week without practice. Think he was fine the last 2 games now outside of the fumble at the end in Buffalo. That's 5 of 7 games where he his play has been decent. Obviously not killing it but who would with these weapons? He's still very uneasy in the clutch though, whats up with those slips in the red zone? And the way he hangs on the ball sometimes when the pass rush is beading down on him is also concerning. Hopefuly see improvements there.

Still a long ways off, but if we get Gilmore and Guy back this defense could look alot different, put that with an improving offense and we could a good team later this year. Just hope it's not too late at that point. Pull off an upset against Baltimore and season's back on !

Oh and shout out to Nick Folk, he is having a fantastic year!

I was extremely high on Cam going into this year. He's clearly regressed as a passer and he needs talent to offset that. The thing with Cam is that he used to be a big time playmaker who couldn't create plays without needing worldclass talent. That is gone. He's doing his best, but he's not where he was even in 2018

I think Cam is the guy. So pay him. Find a #1 receiver and a NT and we're good.
