Might as well run it every play. We have a Qb that seems to have forgotten how to throw an NFL football but we’re pretty good at running at least. Why not?

Come on man lol. Those numbers won't hold 16 games and we are going to roll over Allen and his whinny coach next week. This game is why we pay the OC so much money. Find a way.

Yes because they're slowly getting better each game offensively. Oh wait, they're not.

A week ago I was laughed at for suggesting the Cam Newton wasn't playing any better than Hoyer

The coaches won't let that happen. If he stinks again on Sunday I think that's when they'll pull the plug. I don't think they would cut him but I think they'll IR him for the rest of the year to let him save face.

I think it's safe to say Cam's going through a rough patch.

He's clearly relied a lot on talent and emotion, both of which he has in abundance.

I saw Grogan go through some of this including the impatience and gunning the ball too hard, as Newton did on Sunday.

Age and experience give us the opportunity to learn from our mistakes and take a more cerebral approach to what we do. I really hope Cam can begin to do this. It's what I'd encourage if I were Belichick.

Maybe Newton should try actually throwing to a guy when their open.

But either way hope it continues, need more losses and terrible QB play if Pats are gonn have a chance at Lawrence or Fields. Losing to the jest twice is really gonna need a "Belichick's game plan vs Bills in the SB" type of game plan

Is it that or is his shoulder shot? I am not a QB guru, but in general if your shoulder has weakened then you have to stand differently to open up and throw the ball harder. Once you open up the ball has more velocity but you have lost your accuracy. It is always a trade-off, velocity versus accuracy. If Cam's surgically repaired shoulder is coming unglued there is no solution. I have seen a few of Cam's throws land in the dirt 5 yards in front of the receiver which indicates throwing hard with no accuracy. Cam has never been an accurate passer, but never this bad either.

It could be impatience and gunning - I am not saying it isn't. No way to know from looking at a TV. But it might be a surgically repaired shoulder coming apart. If it is the former than I agree BB will get him back on track, if it is the latter we will see Stidham very soon. I seem to remember seeing a clip of BB going to the bench to comfort Cam - not a typical BB move - makes me think BB thinks Cam's career might be done and feels badly for him.

I know that is what Kraft said but I don't believe that to be the case.

I do.......I think he didn't want to play for BB...........and in return, the Pats made the 'extension' offer that made it easy for him to leave. and Brady made it easy for the team to say 'we don't want to build around an old guy' .... and that's the problem....you can't build anything around a 43 year old QB.....it constantly needs to 'already be there'... there are no rookies who can plug and play with Brady

It is no ones fault but Bill's that there was no one "already there" around Brady. He whiffed horribly trying to find an NFL starting caliber tight end once Gronk retired. He signed endless amounts of nobodies and washouts at receiver in camp then relied on two highly unpredictable receivers in Gordon and AB for 5 minutes and that blew up in his face. Bill had to resort to building this team with free agents and/or unreliable players because he has drafted so poorly as of late. I have been saying for a year or two now that he hasn't drafted great and that all came to a head now.

Listen, if Cam is hurting in any way, he needs to let the coaching staff know. BUT, If his shoulder is shot, not exactly injured, but just shot, you’d think the staff would know that. Either way, if Belichick thinks Cam gives this team the best chance to win, we are ****ed, in both the gameplay and coaching department.

Letting a guy who is the worst QB in the league (statistically) continue to start, is a very Jet’s thing to do.
