Team looks good! It’s great to see WRs running open all over the field. Winning against press man. Cam looked spectacular. The run defense was absolutely stout at the point of attack and the team speed is off the charts. I think we’re a lock for the AFCCG, and likely Super Bowl champs.
You mentioned Zoloft in another thread.

And? Good for him. I love Tom. But he is gone
That’s an accomplishment he got almost all with us. It’s relevant.

Wondering how many more post will we get with Brady's stats...like the bucs don't have a totally different offensive team

Those of us who laid the blame on Belichick for last season have been proven correct, unsurprisingly. Brady was never in any decline, that was a lie to cover for the horrible personnel Bill thrust upon him. It's pretty embarrassing to see how wretched our QBs are while simultaneously watching Brady working on building a case for MVP at age 43.

Not only that Belichick's defense looked AWFUL.

I agree. There is nothing wrong with a rebuild. There is nothing embarrassing about stepping back after dominating for 20 years.

Here are a few keepers (based on age or skill or $) :

Harris
Onwenu
Bailey
Bethel
Wino

But, having said that, I’d be open to trading absolutely every single player on this roster if the price was right.

Trade for a bunch of first rounders and see if we can land the 1st overall pick some how. I wish Bill would have traded Gilmore to the Jete in the offseason for their first rounder...

Does everyone remember two years ago, everyone was saying "we're done, we have no shot"...look what happened....I'm not saying this is going to happen, but I know we're not as bad as we played and what the score indicated today...

Bill's ego completely ruined the last few years...

With the added context of this week one can now easily reevaluate last week's catastrophic game. It all starts with the QB play on offense.

At this point I wonder if Cam is mentally already too far down the rabbit hole. He doesn't need to play hero ball but go back to what he was doing so well in the first two weeks. Just do your job.

If he ****s the bed similarly next week I don't see what the point is of him starting.

Apart from that the entire team has been unprepared and lacks energy ever since the COVID break.

I don't get how this team went on the road and played Seattle and the Chiefs so tough and then just somehow lost the plot.

Not much more to say about this game really. Nothing positive and pretty much everything didn't work out.

We will be playing for our season next week. Gotta hope they somehow find a switch to get back to how they started the year.

And, yeah, since it will certainly come up I'd definitely start Cam. What happens beyond I dont know.

We could legitimately go 4-12 with this schedule. Maybe time to pack it in, trade some of the higher salaries.
If it’s that bad mine as well shoot for 2-14 with 2 losses to the jets. We may be in the TLaw sweepstakes after all.

I'd like to see Edelman released. Warrior deserves to end on a contender.

(1) I think teams would still like to have Gilmore
(2) I am fine with JJ-JC-JMac for the rest of the season

As I said in the game day thread. This is the worst Pats team since the 2000 team. Our offense is putrid. We have no receivers. Edelman is showing no interest in playing football this year. Our RB's are ok. Our D is down players due to opt out which the NFL should have never let happen. It's juat ugly all around. We're basically 1 small step up from the Jets

Anything can happen. I'd love if the team turned it around. It just looks very grim and I think its okay to admit that. Who knows though.... maybe we go on a run but its going to be very difficult.

Hope for the best I guess.
