Imagine if Kraft didn't get caught and feel the need to reconstruct the Patriot's image he single handedly tarnished. Potentially coming off a Superbowl win (depending on when AB's suspension dropped) with Brady, AB, and Gronk this year.

And he didn't want to intervene in the Brady negotiations and basically allowed Bill to let him walk...Brady wouldn't look great in this offense but he would be a lot better than the crap we have out there...

Kittle's one hell of a tight end. Wish we had a tight end on the roster.

Pretty sure we have the worst offense in the NFL

Was the last interception on edelman? I couldn't see the replay. Was it over thrown?

Two weeks ago people were calling him senile against the Bears, can't make it up
He isn't perfect, and he's no doubt well past his prime. But he's night and day different with some talent on offense around him. Bill has spent years slowly murdering the Pats offense. Now without a capable QB, we all get to see just how bad it really is

Not even Brady and his prime could work with this mess. This could very well be the worst group of receivers and tight ends I've ever seen.
No question

The 2001 team won the SB

I'm glad you are aware of that...

I meant that this is the worst Patriots team since that year...

Antoine Winfield JR. continues to make plays and is the lone bright spot in the Bucs secondary. Meanwhile, we have the legend of Kyle Dugger drafted ahead of him.

Well if you grab Lawrence its pretty damn easy. Plus you can then trade for a big time receiver if you want.

No way we ever land Lawrence. Weve already won two games more then the jets will win. If they were in first and we even happened to be in 2nd, then there’s no way The jets win another game intentionally. TL is nothing more than a pipe dream buddy. Let’s not get started on the whole drafting a WR. Bill has never drafted a good WR. Now you think we’re gonna get TL and some how draft a good WR at the same time. Lol

I can say that seeing the performance this year, Brady carried the team the team last year and they even overachieved!

Time to trade any veteran that will return a quality draft pick. With the Pats’ cap space available they should be able to reload and be competitive next year but I don’t see it happening this year.

this team gets pushed around on both sides of the ball...injuries on the O line a contributing factor but the zero sum at TE, the lack of threatening receivers and some of the slowest LB's in the league indicates a bad year...as in 5=11 or even 4-12

You realize that if the Jets and Pats end up 2-14, they get the tie breaker because the Jets would have 2 division wins and the Pats would have exactly zero? So they won't beat the Jets as of now in either game. So, that leaves Atlanta to pick up a win or 2. It isn't as far fetched as you think.
