Mostert out for Sunday with a high ankle sprain. That helps.

You think Bill and Josh have any incite into their QB?

Belichick’s defenses have always struggled against these zone blocking outside run concepts with Mike Shanahan. And with these linebackers being some of the worst we’ve had in a long time, I’m not loving this matchup. They might win, but the Niners will run it up their ass plenty with whoever they have at RB.

That sweep is the “home run” play for the 49ers, whereas the Patriots have built their entire defense to stop the home run play through the deep pass.

Luckily the Niners are playing pretty badly and beaten up, just like the Patriots.

Could be a battle of the walking wounded

Look how the dolphins made them look.

Jimmy's ankle was in bad shape in that game and made him not throw the ball well. Hoyer might be better than both their backups.

He looked good Sunday night. Wouldn't count on a blowout.

Belichick on Jimmy:

“He came from a situation where we thought he’d need some development, and I think he did”

That's an interesting comment. Not something you'd expect to hear about a QB was being talked about to replace Brady sooner than later.

A blow out? Who in their right mind would be expecting a blow out? We just lost at home to the Broncos. Blow out? Blow out? Said with a Jim Mora voice.

Must. Win.

Cannot fall to 2-4. That's the reality in my opinion. If we fall to 2-4, its going to take a cinderella story. They need to come out blazing. Cam can't be throwing picks and locking onto Edelman. Win this game and we're 3-3. Keeps us in the hunt. Do your job and get this W. One week at a time.

Schedule makers not doing us any favors here with the late kick off. West coast team gets their rest and no advantage for New England.

This is one of the games we gotta win if were gonna make the playoffs. Before the Denver loss, maybe losable but now margin for error is getting slim. Not one of the toughest on the schedule, but no gimme either. Hopefully we practice each day this week.

Maybe we can afford to drop this one. NFC team. But that means the next two vs Bills and Jets are must win. They might be already if the Pats are contending for the division. Ravens after that.

we technically could yeah. As long as we are only 2 or less behind buffalo in the loss column i feel we’ll have a good shot at catching them. Certainly not ideal but it wouldnt be the end

Anyone know the health of the defensive front? Who do we have out of butler, Calhoun, Cowart? I know Guy is ready and will have to have a huge game
