Hopefully they get the Jets version of Bell and not the Steelers version

Dumb move. What are they going to do? Run a 22 personnel all the time? Won't be long before he starts complaining about playing time.
Not really. It’s similar to many Pats signings in the past. Dude burned several bridges, he had an excuse of the Jets being a dumpster fire. If he can’t make it work on the Chiefs it kills him.

This is what the Chiefs get for drafting well. They can make pickups like this

You were saying?

Just because he signed with the Chiefs doesn't mean that guy wasn't full of ****. More reliable sources reported that he was negotiating with multiple teams today.

More importantly, he can't play on Monday because he has to undergo 5 days of Covid testing before joining the Chiefs, per league protocol. That pretty much makes it impossible for him to have been in Kansas City already last night waiting to undergo a physical before signing.

Before you puff out your chest about posting an outdated tweet from an unreliable source, maybe do a little research.

This just shows how little the Pats are on the radar for FAs. McCoy and Fournette went to the Bucs to be with Brady and now Bell to the Chiefs. Even the crappy Bills are a better draw right now than us. So depressing. We are officially a middler team.

I posted this as a FWIW...I didn't say the physical actually took place (hence, the use of the word "apparently" in my post). And the guy heard it from someone on Fox Sports radio in Kansas, so it wasn't just some random source...and where does it say that he has to undergo 5 days of covid testing before taking a physical? And most importantly, who cares at this point? What's done is done...

Players are drawn more to players than to coaches. This isn’t that crazy. Players liked the idea of playing with Brady than having Bill be a drill seargant. Likewise, nobody flocked to Reid before Mahomes

Eagles dream team.

Yep. With all the CoVid it was better to tank. Yeah BB would never do that. Whatever, thats the double edged sword. Guess its time to start looking at Jr High QBs to find out who the Pats are gonna pick number 1 overall in 8 years.

Boy, Lawrence would have looked good in a Pats uniform. Instead he will go to some crap bag team and rot.

There was no chance the Patriots would have been bad enough to get the top pick even if Hoyer started all 16 games

I think bill is content with us getting a playoff spot or winning division. I think the chiefs are the top dawg in the afc east. I do feel though we still have the best secondary in the afc. I just don’t know if our offense is good enough to reach a super bowl.

Get a receiver who can click in the offense with Cam and it might be.

Yeah, it tots sucks having the Chiefs in the AFC East. They have looked unbeatable this year, especially their OL and DBs.

Belichick has always been content with just winning the East or just making the playoffs...wicked frustrating that he consistently settles for good instead of expecting and striving for greatness in himself and his teams. That's why he always goes nuts in the locker room every time they clinch the east, champagne showers galore. So embarrasssing. I hear that he even sleeps in the "AFC East Champs" hats for a full week.

20+ years as the Pats head coach and so many dopes here have no clue about the man.

More touches for Bell/CEH, means the ball is out of Mahomes’ hands...I’ll take it.

yeah but bell excels at catching the ball out of the bs backfield and our lbs blow.
