Im not a troll just because I have a difference of opinion.

Im being respectful.
But you are ignoring all the posts pointing out where you are wrong.

You can't possibly know that Cam violated protocols.

We do know the disease has a 3-7 day incubation period where tests don't detect it, and each person reacts to the virus differently.

We're told players are wearing locating devices, so at least the league will know his movements.

They keep saying they are confident in their processes, let's see what we find out next.

hopefully covid is overblown and Cam can come back healthy without a scratch.

FWIW, I believe the current thought is that you at least get a few months' immunity.

Correct. Been numerous people around the world who have got it a 2nd time already..

Doesn't he now have the quarantine for two weeks? If that's the case he could miss two or three games.

Positive doesn't mean symptomatic (and, obviously, I hope he stays asymptomatic). There are protocols here on when he can come back (based on symptoms and/or testing). It's not a specific time period.

I don’t want to repeat myself so I’ll just say this. I know Covid doesn’t spontaneously appear in peoples bodies. So he went somewhere.

You're better off not saying anything, in all honesty.. No one said that Covid "spontaneously appears". And yes, we understand that Cam went somewhere. But you don't have the first F'in clue where or IF he broke protocols. Hell, for all you know, he could have gotten it from someone in his family.

So, instead of speculating like an idiot, just wait until they say how he got it.. Or is that too much to ask of you?

What hallways is Cam walking down that are not in his home or at the stadium?

Thats the point...
Um. The grocery store. The pharmacy. Gas station.

While the NFL has it's own protocol, you're forgetting that Massachusetts has set protocols as well. I can see someone in that Government trying to make an example out of a Football player.

He's built like on ox and is getting the best medical care in the world (outside of POTUS)...he'll be fine

The facts are that after a person is first exposed to COVID, it most commonly takes 8 days for that person to have a positive COVID test if they were infected. (Opinion | Biden Tested Negative. He Could Still Have the Coronavirus.

I do not see how the Chiefs and Patriots can safely play on Monday or Tuesday. It should take up to 8 days after exposure for a person to test positive. So it is possible that some other Patriots players have COVID but have not yet converted to positive. If Pats play on Monday or Tuesday, the Chiefs and Patriots risk spreading the infection to others.

The best approach from a scientific standpoint would be for the Patriots not to play any games for at least 10 days and if they all test negative after 10 days, they can resume playing.

Negative tests are tricky to interpret in part because of the issue of timing. After people are exposed to the coronavirus, they incubate it for several days before testing positive or showing symptoms. In a systematic review of seven studies published in May, researchers at Johns Hopkins University analyzed how long this process typically takes. They found that the most widely used test, called a P.C.R. test, was most likely to come back positive eight days after an exposure to the virus, which tended to coincide with a person’s third day of symptoms. Still, even on this ideal day, the tests came back negative on average in 20 percent of people who later tested positive.

Who popped + for KC???? And who leaked Newton's test???? Media sucks

The players wear devices within the team facility. But I believe once they leave the building they have to give up their trackers until they return...all they do is beep when players and coaches get too close to each other. Obviously, it doesn't apply to the players once they are on the field...

Exactly.

Don’t go there. You’re a millionaire. Order DoorDash. Order Seemless. Order groceries. They get dropped at your door.

He could have caught it from someone on the Raiders last Sunday. That's as likely as anything.

Being the first to test positive doesn't mean you were the first to be infected among the 90+ Pats players, coaches, and support staff. You can catch it on Sunday and it doesn't show on a test till Friday. Anyone following the Trump saga knows that.
